Seriously. I almost got into it when Q hit two straight 3s in the fourth, but same ole Knicks. We just don't have the personel to run D'Antoni's offense. 2010 can't get here soon enough...

I just don't understand. It's like they don't listen.

They still over dribble and take a lot of bad shots.

There are moments that you see D'Antoni's system being recognized when players drive to the basket, pass to the man on the corner, and then that man passes to an open player on the wing. It's beautiful and it happens quickly.

But, most of the time, they Knicks are slow and methodical about everything. They wait till 5 seconds on the clock to try to do something and it ends up being another isolation move that forces a shot. This is why D'Antoni doesn't want Marbury around, because he would be doing it all night.

Problem is, no one else seems to be listening. I can see Duhon trying, at least. His problem is, he isn't talented enough to be the only guy to see the system at it's full potential. He needs help. He's still making mistakes because guys around him act like they have no clue that he's running an offense. And then a lot of the time he puts himself in trouble by driving into a taller defender that shifts his entire shot for the worse.

Get used to this though.

They're going to live and die by the quick shot. They make them and they are competitive; they don't and they are run out of the building.

Like you said, they don't have the personnel to compete. What makes things worse is it gives guys like Nate an excuse to chuck.

Should be a loooong season.

It's going to be like this for a couple of years until Walsh gets us under the cap.

Really, I wouldn't mind it if they were losing because they were taking quick shots.

The thing is, they are not. Where is this "Under 7 seconds" philosophy? Because I haven't seen it. The Knicks still over dribble and isolate way too much. There is no offense.

Well, there is some attempt, but the players are still lost. They try to run plays, I can see it happening, but they get caught up in it, confused on what to do next and by the time they know it, they've run 15 seconds off the clock and it's time to rush.

I rather that they were running a brisk offense. Instead, it's more like a brisk stroll in the park.

For last night, you have to give the Bucks some credit - their D played very well. You can't just jack up any old shot in under seven seconds, the Knicks simply didn't have that many great looks early in possessions which of course led to the isoing, over dribbling, etc. As of now it's almost like the team is clueless if they don't get a great look in transition or at least create an open look in transition. If we have to reset things are ugly.

Bucks D was good, but I'm going to suggest that the Knicks can make anyone look good on defense.

It's a clueless team. I don't expect them to dominate, but thy could at least show some progression, some promise. They haven't done it since the 3rd quarter of the first game of the season. How does a team suddenly forget to move and pass?

And, it's cause for concern when you see one player pushing the ball and everyone else is jogging. Practice can't be that tough that you're tired for the game. It's ridiculous. Guys can't run?

I changed the channel right now. Can't even watch this team play at this moment. First of all, we give up a double digit lead going into half time. Now, we come out to start the 2nd half, and we apparently forgot how the pass the ball. Ugh, this team is so bad.

EDIT: Obviously turned back to watch, lol. We've picked up our play here.

someone got to give i.thomas props, the man can draft all his draft picks are killing right now, he should be the director of scouting or drafting cause everyone he's drafted in the nba is doing something right now.

He kinda is. When Walsh took over he reassigned Thomas to the scouting department.
