Also, I think it's time to bench Dunleavy. Dude got absolutely abused by Wade in the 1st. He's a good shooter, but when he's not scoring he's pretty much useless.

Defense is what we need.. Rush and Jones play it well and can also score.

I'd also like to see George in action more often. 31 minutes tonight and I'm happy with that. I don't think you can put him in the starting lineup though. DC, George, Danny, McRoberts, Roy? Maybe.

I love the confidence.

The last 2 games versus the heat Dunleavy has gotten abused by Wade. Dunleavy a good guy to have because he can shoot and has a high basketball IQ but rush really should have started this game with jones backing him up. IN the game they beat the Heat Rush did a good job on Wade but Wade also was not 100%.

yeah Dunleavy gets his ankles broke like 2-3 times a game. I like him shooting it from down town, but your right, he does get bent over and taken out to the woodshed on defense waaaaaay to much.

Im a Duns fan.

I think Jones, George, and Rush could do a better job defensively at the 2 spot, but neither of those dudes can shoot like Duns.

Wade cant be stopped regardless of who is there. Slowed down yes, but stopped, no.

Very disappointing loss tonight. I didn't watch it so I can't say much, but why did George only get 12 minutes? Also Collison has been disappointing lately.

I won't put too much into the L though.

Very poor defensive rotations tonight hurt us. Got to give the Pistons credit they played a very good game as much as I hate to say it because I hate them with a passion. I wish someone would end Wallace's career, I hate that guy.
Yeah Collison is making some stupid *** mistakes hopefully he starts playing better plus his shots not falling either right now. George's minutes will probably decrease a little because of Rush being back.

I agree. Rush being back was probably the biggest reason George's minutes got reduced tonight. He played 18 to George's 12.

I don't know what's been up lately with Collison, but I wonder if he's getting fatigued. Hopefully the time off for the All-Star break helps him get his game back. Saying he's been off the last couple game would an understatement. He went 1-11 against the Heat and 3-11 tonight against the Pistons, a combined 4-22 over the last two games...ouch.

George also had a sore groin to which might have led to less playing time as well tonight. I just read that on Pacers.com

I'm glad the trade did not go thru. I like McRoberts with Hansbrough coming off the bench. Its a nice combo to have at PF. I always thought Mayo would be very good coming out of college but I am no fan of his now. I think he has a lot of baggage that the Pacers don't need. I say keep team as is the rest of the year. This team is young and has talent so let them grow together. Only players that I would get rid of are TJ and Solo and possibly Dunleavy because he cant guard the waterboy. I like Dunleavy shooting ability and his Basketball IQ but got to have a better defender. Also while AJ Price has shown some skills i am not completely sold on him just yet as the back up. I would prefer some height and strength for a change of pace to Collisson.

I'm also glad the deal for Mayo didn't go through. I'm not a fan of his and the Pacers didn't need the off court troubles he had as well. The Pacers need McRoberts more right now than they need O.J. Mayo.

Yep! Also now Dunleavy is out are D should be evn better. Rush starting with Jones and George backing him up we are alot better on D. We will miss Dunlevy's shooting and leadership but nows the time for Rush to show the Pacers that he is the guy long term and show them that he can make a impact. I was excited when we got him draft night as I always liked him at Kansas. Jones is a good defensive player that has shown the ability to do some scoring as well although every time he shoots i cringe a little,lol. I really like this team and keeping them together is the best thing imo. Other teams might be more talented athletic wise( Miami) but this team now they have a better coach hustles and play hard. just need to cut the turnovers down and this team has shown they can play against anybody. They could give some teams some trouble come playoff time. Doubt they can win a 7 game series against Miami, Boston or Chicago but they could make them sweat a little. Actually I feel form top to bottom this Pacers team has more talent than those teams but those teams have a 2 or 3 guys that are just way better than anyone on the Pacers. Plus the Pacers are young and inexperienced but the talent is there.
