I mean the guy is getting more than the rookie free agent minimum.

I'm not mad about it. Dallas did something desperate and that's how you sign a guy away.

But Yeah Ledo looked like trash offensively in the SL but is a better passer than Galloway who is at most a decent bench player. I'd like to have Thanasis on the roster for his defense.

Thanasis...I just don't see it. He's athletic and plays hard but he doesn't have the skill or smarts to be an NBA player IMO.

              Well here comes Thanasis...

Ledo’s axing is expected to pave the way for the long-awaited signing of Antetokounmpo, according to sources.

Thanasis strikes me as a D-League player at best. If he wants to refine his game he needs to head overseas. His defense (from what I've seen) is incredibly overrated. I wouldn't even give him minutes behind Derrick Williams.

Shooter. But Phil and Fisher being loyal again. I'd be shocked if he gets minutes if he even makes the team.

The Knicks were equally as desperate if they were indeed contacting him after he signed with Dallas. They knew they low balled him.

This is random and off-topic, but how many of you consider the Nets a rival? I know some of our fans do, but I just can't hate them for some reason, and I don't feel like we've played them enough in meaningful games to be rivals. To me, they are just another team that happens to share the city with us.

I honestly forget every morning that they play in NYC.

Not even a speck on the radar.

I actually rooted for the Nets big time during their ABA/Dr. J days when I lived in Uniondale. It broke my heart when Roy Boe sold Erving to Philly. Now, they're not even a speck on the radar as CMH said.

I didn't hate them until all of this:

The reckless spending, guarantee of a championship in 5 years, and Jay-Z's ridiculous influence/branding for someone who owned 1/15th of one percent of the team.

They're still the same ol' New Jersey Nets to me. No matter how much success they had (Finals appearances, etc.), they aren't even little brother so to speak.

They're like the annoying neighbors who you don't even pay any mind to.

Hard to have rivals without playing meaningful games against each other.

We don't get up for the Nets. But they get up for us

Don't really hate them or like them, but it would be nice to have both teams get good and create a rivalry. The first year they were in Brooklyn and both teams were relatively good that atmosphere was pretty great for those games.

I also don't live in NY though, so maybe I don't get into the rivalries as much. The Giants I like to see do well, the Mets I don't really care about beyond having a good atmosphere for some regular season games, and I don't care enough about hockey to get into those rivalries.

Decent signing. No risk for 1 year. Can play backup Center and let O'Quinn stay at backup PF which I'd prefer.

Haven't heard the Norris Cole rumor. Don't like him but he'd be an upgrade over Galloway who I'm not sold on.

All in all, we still lack scoring especially at SG and I still think Melo becomes frustrated and asks out sometime prior to the trade deadline.
