I also think it's funny that JR and media members blame the triangle for JR's struggles when he was even worse last year.

Sad day in Knick Land. Mase lost his battle this morning... Thanks for all the good times you gave us Knick fans when you wore the Blue and Orange.

Anthony Mason served as the gritty epitome of Pat Riley’s mid-1990s Knicks — a fan favorite prized for both style and substance on the Madison Square Garden floor. The pugnacious power …

          Mase..he was NY.

          Hard hat & lunch pail.

I always laughed how he would stand a foot behind the FT line

Biggest point forward you'll ever see in your life.

Oak, Mase, X all kept Ewing fresh to drop 25 by doing the dirty work.

          Way too young.

          RIP

Gone but not forgotten......Knick Nation is in mourning today for one of our favorites. Mase, a native NYer, played with heart and toughness.....miss those days.

Two in a row, we need to cut out this winning nonsense.

Gallo (I'm not sure I'm okay with Clyde calling him that) has the clutch gene apparently.

He's basically what Shumpert should be - making hustle plays and the extra pass here and there. Shumpert meanwhile is more or less doing nothing.
There was a quote from Coach Blatt tho that praised JR and to a lesser extent Shump, saying he has been the ultimate teammate and surpassing his expectations. Basically attributing the teams turn around to their acquisition.
                Surely exaggerating but still.

Well, they did. That team needed Mozgov, a defensive wing and a spot up shooter.

Any production was good production for them. The Knicks aren't in need of that "help" though. You can't contain Smith when he knows the team needs scoring. In Cleveland he knows he's at best, the fourth option.

Saw that, and it was complete BS.

                        Shumpert is who he is.

I don't think he'll ever fully dedicate himself to working on his game besides just using his natural abilities.

And will these guys please stop winning.

I know it's rare for the worst team to get the 1st pick, but what are we doing.

lol. I know right. wtf, and I hate Philly. Talk about a team that is TERRIBLE at drafting talent, but spoiled cuz they've had soo many lottery picks in the last 15 years. Let us get the 1st pick you bums.

                            Shumpert "playing well" in Cleveland...

Take out the 14 point outing and in 3 of his last 4 games he's played 62 minutes and has 1 point, 13 rebounds and 5 assists.

How do you not score and not have one assist in 31 minutes while playing alongside the best player in the world?

Not a knock but that doesn't make any sense to me at all.
