Cool, then I am going to become a boxer and throw jabs until I win a belt! The whole fire ball crap about FN is the joke. For all it's flaws it is stilll a hell of a lot of fun.

So is Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. If I wanted a fighting game, I would play those. I want a boxing game.

i dont care what boxers it's headlined by as long as it's a good boxing game with realistic gameplay and a robust career mode. Im sure there will be a lot of "no name" real fighters combined with a lot of generic fighters and that is fine with me.

I can't imagine them doing that - it would be identical to Fight Night R3 at that point...

Personally, I'd like a game with NO "name" fighters, especially if they screw it up as bad as FNR3 did...

It's weird to me how 2K announces their games. This will be their APF game for 2008 and everyone will speculate if the game is still coming out because Take Two may possibly go under.

It must have been awhile since you played it online, its nothing but rapid punches and haymakers, no strategy at all. I still play it online from time to time because I love boxing, but man....

I played online and had a great record. I just got bored and stopped playing.

But for my taste, Boxer Road 2 on the PSP is the best boxing game I ever played.

Having a great record doesn't change the fact that of what 95% of the people online do....

I was actually boxing, I ddnt use the cheap moves to win. But I was online early, so folks were actually boxing and not cheesing like now a days. Even with the cheest I would still win but it wasnt nearly as fun.

Then there's the issue of it being developed by Venom. Those Rocky games were horrible as far as boxing gameplay. They are light years BEHIND the Fight Night control scheme. I'll definitely be renting this game before I buy. They better step up their game BIG TIME if they expect to take anything away from EA in the video boxing market. Having Don King on the cover won't do anything for sales.
I think its ********! they paid the guy over a million dollars to be in the game, and hes washed up as a promoter!! not to mention the fact that he almost singlehandedly killed boxing. Stupid!!

Im still sooo looking forward to this. They're just hurting the possible sales of the game by putting that man on the cover. :

I don't have sound at work so I was wondering if anything of value was added in this video.

Here is what I learned from the video:

                              - The interviewer is one of the worst interviewers I've ever seen
                              - Don King likes big words
                              - There is a 99% chance that Don King hasnt seen or played this game yet.

                              That is all.

LOL. Thanks. That's pretty much what I figured.

What's funny is Opie and Anthony had DK on their show one day and they wanted to see if he could promote something horrible like SARS and make it sound awesome. It was uncanny how much BS flew out of DK's mouth. By the end, I think half the audience ran out to find SARS.

The man can talk, that's for sure.
