Great fight. Should tell us a lot about where Wilder is at.

Man, I love watching Andy Lee fights.
Despite allowing every fighter to dictate his fight against him, that right-hook finds a way to bail him out.

Korobov looked like a Lt.Heavy and was having his way with Lee until getting struck with a perfect counter right-hook during a big exchange (an exchange Lee was getting the worst of).
That put him on queer street and Lee put him away.

It was basically the same thing as his fight against Jackson.

I don't think Lee has the goods to compete against guys like GGG, but he's very exciting and I think he would be competitive against Cotto or even a 160 Alvarez.

Khan dominated him. I think his reach was too much.

I still think Khan would get decimated against a decent contender. His jaw is so suspect.

I don't know. Alexander gave Shawn Porter a decent fight, beat Matthysse and dominated Maidana. Those are pretty good credentials.

Quite frankly I was surprised by the margin of Khan's victory.

Andy Lee's knockout came suddenly, and for me unexpectedly, because it looked like Korobov's technical skill was winning the day.

I didn't watch Bradley-Chaves so I can't comment on the alleged highway robbery.

He was coming off shoulder rehab, an eight month layoff, and a tricky fighter, but Keith Thurman finally looked human. I was surprised to see him backpedaling throughout the fight.

I dunno, i'm not a huge khan fan, but i think he has the skills and attributes to give a lot of people a tough matchup. Yeah, his chin isn't the greatest, but i think that gets overblown, and he actually has a lot of heart.

Ideally i'd like to see him fight kell brooke or thurman while mayweather fights pacquiao, winner of each fight fights the other.

Also, i heard fans were booing during the keith thurman fight, im sorry but that kinda pisses me off. You can't knock out everyone, and from what i heard he still outboxed him cleanly, he just didn't make it look as easy as some people thought it should of. A lot of casual boxing fans annoy the hell outta me. I saw an interview with thurman where he addressed the boos, and i love his response, he basically said it doesn't really matter what anyone who hasn't been in the ring has to say, and to an extent i agree.

No, he actually made it look easy, he just couldn't knock the guy (Bundu) out..... this after Thurman knocked him down in the first. A lot of blistering Thurman shots were blocked or partially block but Bundu could take a shot.

Speaking of which, Tim Bradley was taking shots at Thurman before both their fights, basically labeling him one dimensional and saying that Chaves was giving Keith a hard time before the 9th round body shot. Of course Bradley fought Chaves Saturday night.

The Chaves fight was a tough one for Thurman. The Showtime crew had it up in the air after 8 rounds. Bernstein even had Chaves leading.

^Ohh i see, i also heard bundu has a real awkward style as well.

Hmm, Bradley vs Thurman, hadn't really thought about it but i'd like to see that matchup.

Good way to finish the guy off in the last round for Adonis.

The much-anticipated Stevenson-Kovalev fight is allegedly supposed to happen in 2015, since I believe Kovalev is the mandatory for Stevenson (despite the cross-sanctioning-body BS). My guess is that Kovalev wins that fight, maybe even knocks Stevenson out, but hopefully we will get to see one way or the other. Honestly, to me, that's my most anticipated potential 2015 fight - beyond Mayweather-Pacquiao (which, 6 years ago, would have been much more interesting obviously...). I'm also oddly much more interested in this Stiverne-Wilder bout than I would have thought I would have been. I'm sure I'll be disappointed.

So what's everyone's fight of the year for 2014?

Being a mandatory doesn't matter anymore-it's all about the money. I would be surprised, but not shocked, to see the two hook up before the end of 2015.

It was just announced yesterday that Kovalez will fight Jean Pascal on March 14 at Montreal. Naturally Stevenson had a response.

As far as fight of the year I would go Matthysse-Molina.
