This fight reminded me of the movie the Great White Hype. They hype the fight, you buy it, Mayweather destroys him. After seeing Canelo Alvarez fight 2 weeks ago, he needs to run far away from Mayweather as possible.

Hype? Guerrero was a 7-1 underdog. Mayweather needs no hype. His fan base is huge.
I have not found one round that I would give to Robert. Ive got it as a white wash for Floyd. He is still a fantastic fighter. Easily the P4P king of the sport.
I thought it was fair. De Leon would not have gone any further. His arms were very slow and lifeless. I wouldn't call it a terrible stoppage. Stopping that fight kept him safe. He already lost his belt.
I defiantly see your point. I just felt that while Ponce was going to be losing after the round, he wasn't in danger of being "damaged" at the time of the stoppage. If you are going to stop a fight and take the belt of the champion then, IMO he can't be throwing back when you do it. That is all. Ponce wasn't out on his feet, and his hands were not "down" like the ref said was his decision for stopping the fight.
I wish there was someone out there that could trouble him. I really do wish that for boxing's sake. I have never seen an athlete with reflexes like that.
The Ghost's camp should be ashamed of some of the comments they are making. Despicable.
