Guys like Ryan Hall or Ian Entwistle "spam" this move in real life though. As long as there are realistic ways to punish this move, I wouldn't mind someone going for it a million times in an online match. They are just that much more predictable for spamming and will tko'd from gnp

Yeah I posted about this a few pages back.
I remember doing sliding Heel Hooks with Paul Harris in UD3 all the time. UD3 had separate jumping, and sliding Heel Hooks from standing. This would be so awesome in EA UFC. Rolling entries would be awesome also, more like what you see Tony Ferguson, and Ryan Hall sometimes do.
The 50/50 position in general would be pretty neat.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

I said this awhile back...
Pulling guard for me is a must, and something I hope they figure out in UFC 3.
There's just so many options and crazy gameplay that can be have with this mechanic and tons of fighters do this in the UFC now.
I hope this gets looked into.

I gotta be honest though, in UD3, I got myself KOd a few timers, accidentally pulling guard with Big Nog...PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Re: What grappling positions are not in EA UFC 2 that you wish were included?
With the new patch out I hope we get some of this addressed as well:
Spoiler
Clinch parries (like parrying a double under attempt into a thai or a over hand right into a single collar tie etc- UFC3 had something similar with catching strikes)
+sideheadlock
Clinch defense stance (like a push distance keeper)
Head trap/collar tie
+ probe/paw
Jones crouch as signature TDD stance
Front headlock
Open clinch (strike in and out of clinch)
Standing Body triangle
Clinch parry
Wrist control/Standing arm trap
+clinch transition

Re: What grappling positions are not in EA UFC 2 that you wish were included?
I wanna see elbows raining down to the side of the head while being backed into the cage and after a stuffed takedown like what happened in the Stefan Struve vs Bigfoot and Travis Browne vs Josh Barnett fights.I also would like to see submission reversals meaning reverse your opponents submission with your own submission either while they are attempting or while they have it locked in during the submission mini game.I also would like to be able to cancel out of a submission whenever I realize Im low on stamina.Comment

I would like to see the spider web position with other submission options besides the armbar like the wrist lock, bicep crush, and the modified key lock.Comment

I wish we were able to counter the guillotine with a von flue choke by transitioning from half guard to side control or straight from side control.Comment

Re: What grappling positions are not in EA UFC 2 that you wish were included?
In honor of the great card last night I hope some of this gets looked into as well:
Spoiler
Head control/Post/Half Thai clinch/head trap/single plum tie, whatever you want to call it
Body Triangle
TD Charge to Cage
Butterfly Guard
Hand fighting and short check hook (Werdum tried to control Miocic's rear hand while Miocic parried and stifled Werdum's lead; walking him into his short right while moving away nullifying Werdum's right)

p1.08-10?SpoilerHead trap/control initiated through probe/pawing
Guys like OSP don't really feel unique when they don't have their signature style strikes and positions, the switch strikes etc; von flue (+sub reversals)
Charging TDs against the cage seem to be sure thing, the complimentary Browne/Struve elbows for balance etc
Pulling/jumping guard should be especially dangerous against heavy ground strikers but a possibility regardless- from clinch, standing, etc
+ front headlock since it seems the earlier one got taken down
Head shield + body elbows
+ powerslam
Guard pull
+off TD
