the online experience is way better on the EA series but offline UD3 still wins by a longshot.

I have to agree on that one. For ranked anyway (in terms of server stability), though Player Matches or fights with friends on Sim energy are so so good.

I say it how it is.... it blows that there is no follow up puches after a clean KO. It's the most common thing in MMA make sure that your opponent is out.

It was too much in ufc 2 (4-5) extra punches. Limit it to a quick 1-2 auto by tapiping one button before the fighter turns for a walkoff. It has to be an option at least guys. 2 weeks left think about it pls. Make it an option.

The game is done. It’s not going to be in the game at release. Your best case scenario is 1 or 2 months.

No joke UD3 is still one of the only reasons I still own a ps3 , and fight night champions.
I’m excited for this game however THQ UFC3 is the best mma game to date and has laid the blueprint to success, it just seems like with time we have regressed in some points of MMA overall gaming, the games now just look better...

My biggest problem with U3 is there's no chin rating and it shows. It's very rare to have a fight go the distance. That really bothered me, never liked the striking animations either. But it is a good game still.

I believe the chin stat is actually standing striking defence. The issue is, that makes it hard to create a glass cannon is career mode because most of the training games that raise striking offence also raise defence.

I’m sure it’s going to be a great game but nowhere close to the transitions and options UD3 had... there’s a reason that game is constantly brought up in most forums ..

Hes basing it off the beta, the beta isnt going to be a massive difference from the full game. They both have their Pros and Cons, but the depth of UD3 kind of takes it.

I never got to play online, but offline, I feel like I've only seen fights go the distance enough times to count on one hand after all this time still (I've recently bought it again a few months ago along with EA MMA). You could pretty much finish everyone the same, so I always thought the defense stats might have just meant the blocking for it or something. Shogun could get KOed just as much as a Bob Sapp in U3, bothers me to no end. It was a huge reason I always turned to EA MMA sometimes.

I've been playing UD3 for the past week or so on Ultimate/Simulation and I still love it as much as I thought I did. To me, it's timeless.

Just like we got over Madden removing concussion injuries and helmets popping off.

Just like we got over baseball games removing throw at batters heads.

MMA games aren't immune to possible PR issues like other sports games.

There is so much crazy violence in video games.
