Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
That's Full Mount, and you're basically screwed. But really, you have to wait for them to strike and flip out of it either by doing a major transition, pulling them down to your chest with a minor (to limit the strike damage they can do to you), or using a signature Judo/BJJ transition to escape, which is LB + minor transition. You can also catch their punching hand if you time it correctly by clicking in RS, which will pull them to your chest as well and will allow you to transition to a better position like halfguard.
But yeah, the basic idea is to cover your face to try and not get KO'd immediately by their strikes, and then just try to time the escape when they're striking, as that's about the only time you'll be successful. Most people hold transition block carefully when they have mount, and it's such an advantageous position that you'd have a hard time winning that battle unless you time it right.
A really patient person with a good ground game (and a well-rated ground fighter) is pretty much impossible to get off of you in that situation, which pretty much mirrors real life.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

If they are aggressively attacking you, you need to try your best and time an minor transition (or clicking the RS) to grab their their arm and pull them down. Also be aware of using signature grapple counters from the bottom - they're difficult to pull off sometimes, so again it comes down to timing. Hitting L1 + major transition you could either "turbo turn up" (wrestler), grab their arm and flip (BJJ), or kick the guy off you (Judo). If you hit them you'll be in a much better position, but they do take a lot of energy to pull off, so don't go spamming these.
Then you have what I call the DB Mount*, where your opponent will simply sit on your chest waiting for you to try and escape in order to throw a counter strike, knowing damn well that they have grapple block on and attempts trying to escape that it futile. What you need to do if they're content to sit there, is to throw shots from the bottom. I know they aren't effective, but no one likes to take unnecessary damage and your opponent will normally respond by throwing strikes and you then in that small opportunity (the opponent typically won't continuously throw strikes, he might throw two or three tops) you MUST get one of the aforementioned off successfully.
* = There is also the DB Guard (BJJ), where the opponent will simply hold you in their Rubber Guard and spam the major transition to get into full mount and the DB Stand (wrestlers), where the opponent will grapple block, wait for counter grapple, punch, repeat. The same steps I mentioned above basically still apply.Comment

I'm one of those people for the most part, though I strike more regularly and don't just sit there. But I normally do wait for them to try and roll out then immediately strike because they can't normally block it in time... then just wait again for them to transition out. If they just lay there and do nothing, I punch them then rush back to the transition block.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

First of all, blocking doesn't help much because it leaves you stomach open and you can get TKO'd really quick, especially against stronger fighters like Brock, Rampage, and Hendo.

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
I have a question. So I use Anderson Silva mostly in the LH division online. Is it considered cheap or cheesy if my primary strategy is to catch my opponent's punches to get into the muay thai clinch? People online are always either quitting on me after the third or fourth time I catch their punches or sending me some crazy messages.Comment
