FYI, the UFC's TRT ban doesnt apply to Brazil. Brazil has its own governing body so Henderson will probably be on it against Rua and Chael will use it against W. Silva.

Re: OS MMA Random Thread
To be honest, if you're the UFC you just ban it outright. Do they really want Brazil cards to always have those guys who are on TRT? That would look ridiculous. Further, if Vegas bans it and Dana agrees with the ban, then accepting TRT in other states would also look ridiculous. It should be uniform.Comment

I'm hoping Vegas will set the standard. Having one location ban it and another allow it doesn't make sense.Comment

Poor Vitor. He was unstoppable with Jesus and TRT. I guess it's back to Cell Tech.

Re: OS MMA Random Thread
Dana can ban it, but it would take pulling announced cards and moving them to locations where it is banned. Its a good step. Its going to be interesting seeing which fighters all of a sudden retire or never fight in NV again.
I bet there are no title fights outside of NV if other states/countries don't ban it.Last edited by p_rushing; 02-27-2014, 07:42 PM.Comment

Re: OS MMA Random Thread
That was the case before Nevada banned it. TRT isnt legal in a number of states already. The reason why this is a big deal is because Vegas is seen as the fight capital of the world and most state commissions follow their lead.Comment

This is only the beginning. I had a feeling he was going to pull out the fight when they announced that ban. A non TRT Vitor isn't a threat to anyone at his age. He would a totally different fighter.Comment

Re: OS MMA Random Thread
WOW! Pull out of a title fight?
As long as it's the Machida from the last fight.
I'm looking far down the road I, I know, but........ What happens if Machida wins and Anderson makes a comeback? Will they fight now?
