The word that really annoys me when it comes to Fedor is "former". It's always how many "former" UFC champs he has beaten. How about just once he beats the "current" UFC champ?

Not to discredit Brock, but every fighter i have named has has acomplished more than lesnar at this point in his career. let him actually defend that belt once. And no he just became champ by beating the champ. Mir beat noguiera who couture *****ed out to. Mir was the champ in that fight no matter how they want to spin it. When Lesnar gets a few defenses under his belt we can anoint him as the greatest then.
And how long has Lesner been doing this? He's had what 5 fights and maybe 2 years of training. He's faster, quicker, bigger, stronger then all those guys put together. Sorry but Andrei Arlovski is a over-rated bum, he was in the UFC when the HW was so watered down, He has no chin, lesner would pound his face in with 1 hand behind his back. Tim Sylvia this guy is a big stiff I wish people would stop trying to make Sylvia out to be a good fighter EVER.

When did I ever once say Lesner was the greatest? Never.

Cause he knows he would get roughed up thats why he is hiding. Lesner is not AA or Tim "The Stiff" Sylvia.

Yet, it's really only the internet fans saying that Fedor is afraid of getting smashed in the UFC. If Fedor was really only propped up by fighting horrible bums like Sylvia, wouldn't many fighters come out and say so? They know more about the actual skills of MMA than you or me, and would presumably jump at the chance to shoot down the urban legend of Fedor.

How many fighters do you hear out there calling Sylvia a bum? Fighters aren't going to call other fighters out like that. They might say they think they can beat them but they're surely not going to say that 30-1 isn't impressive when their record might have 6 losses on it.

For the record, I'm not saying that Fedor is a bad fighter by any stretch of the imagination. At the time Pride ended he was the best fighter in MMA. What I call into question is his post-Pride career which has been a joke. 3 guys bounced from the UFC, 2 of which were considered the best of an incredibly weak division, and a 7'1" behemoth with no skills. At the time he would have been THE UFC HW division but now I'm just not so sure anymore. He's only fought 4 times in 3 years and none of them are impressive wins.

I just think that the major difference is back in the Pride days he consistently backed it up and now this joke that is called M-1 apparently hand picks his fights. Anybody who is going to let their fights be hand picked for them better be prepared to have their legacy and current ability questioned.

In the end there are 4 types of people regarding Fedor:
              1. The Fedor supporter - it doesn't matter what he does for the rest of his life Fedor is god.
              2. The Fedor frustrated - they look at the last 3 years with disappointment.
              3. The Fedor ***** - Fedor sucks no matter what, even if he ripped through the UFC.
              4. The who's Fedor? - very casual MMA fans who primarily watch UFC that might have heard the name before but don't really know anything about him.

              I'm person #2.

I would be #2, I just wanna see the guy fight better talent and not below avg fighters. I will respect what he does once he starts fighting better guys.

That's because the internet fans are the only ones that know who he is.

Far as actual fighters, you know they don't say that stuff but I'm sure Brock will be more than willing to say it should he sign with the UFC and Dana says it plenty though not in those exact words.

Same here...I respect Fedor's talent and what he's done, but it's a shame he hasn't been in the UFC, the company that brought MMA to the masses the past 10 years.

IMO he's tied to the hip to Vadim and M1 for some reason and he's throwing everything away for that small delusional promotion that thinks it's on the same level as UFC.

There's no such thing as a fighter not having a chance against another fighter. This is MMA.

Brock has an advantage in stand up. I don't see him knocking Fedor out. I read that Fedor is hit less often than anyone in MMA, including Machida.

Brock won't be as succesful as he would want in the stand up, so he'll take Fedor down. That's where it will be a different outcome than the Brock-Mir fight II.

Fedor's core is as strong as a 250 pounder, and a huge strength of his is his "quick-twitch muscles", meaning, his quickness. He throws on an armbar unbelievably fast. Mir is technically better, but he isn't as quick as Fedor.

But Brock grappled with Mir for about five minutes and there literally wasn't one single chance for Mir to throw an armbar. And that wasn't by accident. Lesnar has obviously been training submission defense. He was able to read and react to Mir's rolling kneebar and guillotine attempts incredibly quickly. And when it got to the ground, he smothered Mir, slowly and methodically mixing in brutal strikes with wrist control and hip control, never once posturing up to allow Mir to throw his legs up for a triangle or armbar.
