Haha why can't they hug and shake hands after the fight? I think that's always nice to see, especially since Rashad has said that before this whole thing started between them, Rampage was his favourite fighter.

Because then it shows this whole thing was an act.

Right now I'm sitting here believing they actually hate each other and want to knock each other the eff out. But if they all the sudden just decide to hug it out and play buddy-buddy after the fight then it's gonna piss me off. It probably shouldn't but it will.

I think a lot of times fighters go into fights hating each other but then get a lot of that out of their system during the fight and gain respect for each other in the octagon. It sounds weird but I totally think it's possible to bond with somebody who you just fought. I don't think that means that they didn't hate each other before the fight at all. I guess it all depends on how the fight goes. Obviously Koscheck and Daley didn't get it out of their system during their fight.

I agree. With that said, If they are hugging after the fight, I will be dissapointed. Hughes and Serra shook hands after the fight but it was clear that their beef was legit.

Tito and Shamrock hugged after their fight last fight also. I was kind of disappointed. So I can see where BnG is coming from.

Re: UFC 114 - Rashad vs. Rampage

I don't see how anyone can think that this beef is not legit. Everytime they were around each other there was animosity. It would always start off as jokes but then one of them would get serious. Rampage really got serious when Rashad got in his face. That was some real sh*t right there.

I am a fan of both but more of a fan of Rashad since I watched him go from nothing to something. I'm rooting for him but giving the edge to Rampage. I just can't believe there are so many Rashad haters. I really think Page wants to be the alpha black guy.. Because he seems nice as hell to every one else but when there is another black dude trying to shine he has a problem. Look at the argument with him and King Mo.

I can see Rashad taking it because he continues to improve. He is a smart fighter and still has alot of talent. I think if it goes past the 1st then Rashad will take it. He is training with a high caliber opponents at Grudge from Carwin to Marquardt. I personally think Wolfslair is trash and think Page has gotten weaker since being with them.

We will see Saturday but my money is on Rashad.

Also LOL @ "The alpha black guy".

Well, BlueNGold, you probably won't like this, but Rashad in an interview on mmaweekly.com said something to the effect of that the two would probably 'be cool' after the fight was over.

I think we will, unless Rashad goes ultra-conservative and just tries for takedowns the entire fight.

But that's what I see happening. I just can't see him trying to trade w/ Rampage.

I think he will in the beginning. He's going to go for the KO early I think and then he'll go with the Jackson gameplan and try to win a slow, plodding fight.

Rampage is a tough guy to takedown, though, and I'd say he's stronger than Rashad, so we'll see what happens.

I'm banking on a Rampage KO, but that's just me.

Yea I see nothing wrong with them being cool after they whoop each others asses. If Jens/BJ, Shamrock/Diaz, Shamrock/Tito, Dana/Tito and Hughes/Serra can do it then I don't see why they couldn't. Them seem to have a big brother little brother feud any way.
