Only Evans and Machida can do it and you click on the right stick.

Has anyone been knock out going for takedown with a knee or knock out a person as they are getting up from the ground with a head kick.It is fun

Shogun Rua knocked me out doing just that. I was trying to take him down with Rashad, but got caught.

There is a counter for Machida's super quick takedown I did it once by accident but I'm willing to bet it's a minor transition type motion because Rashad got an underhook in and pummeled him off of him. I've seen a little of everything on expert as far as finishes go. I definitely think the key to not getting knocked out this year is simply defending properly. You have to use your block button and your sways but don't forget about the step back using the right stick to get in and out a little easier. I kind of fell in love with sways and stopped using it and I was getting KO'd by everyone.

you have to pull the right stick back before he gets to you. you cant have the struggle for his you need to sprawl it ahead of time.

You hit forward to do a ducking sway.

Rashad has an awesome slam from a low position off the cage.

But after further play I must say...UFC Undisputed 2010 I am not impressed with your performance.{/GSP}

Submissions seem to just not work. Don't know why they took the buttons out. I spent 45 minutes trying to win by submission on beginner with Shogun vs. Evans and couldn't get it done no matter what,not even when I had him rocked,he only had half a meter and it was a leg lock after leg kicking him for 2 rounds. On the bright side I finally got to a decision while trying. 30-27,30-27 and Cecil's score of 30-24. I haven't had any trouble escaping them on any difficulty but haven't bothered with expert myself,only a CPU vs. CPU match.

I'd like to re-iterate the uselessness of wrestling. I got stood up FROM THE MOUNT. I threw a few punches,used the ground buster move,few more punches,ground buster again,2 more punches and then got stood up while trying to posture up. I can't recall ever seeing someone stood up from the mount and there was work being done there.

As said before the KOs are too frequent. In fact the whole thing seems to be geared towards having a stand up back and forth,constant wild exchanges and winning with a highlight reel KO and a highlight reel KO only regardless of difficulty. Clinch against the cage + uppercuts also seems to be a bit too effective.

I think I'll wait until the first patch before renting.

Well looking at the stats Evans has the second best submission defense rating out of all four guys, not saying he shouldn't be able to be submitted though. I've had a lot of trouble submitting guys, I'm definitely not very good with the shine and I had been practicing on 09 trying to get prepared but I'm still not good. I know they said they tuned the shine to be more about making accurate complete circles over speed but that doesn't seem to be true.

Submissions do work they're just harder to get in. I haven't gained a sub against the CPU yet though, but I have been defeated by kimura after being rocked, that was a one on one human v human however.

I'm also willing to bet that since these guys are the upper echelon at 205 that their ratings are above average and that there are going to be several guys with submission defense well below 50. I'm trying to keep in mind that out of these four guys they only have 3 submission losses between all of them.

I'm trying to keep in mind that out of these four guys they only have 3 submission losses between all of them.

I'm hoping that is the reason they are so hard. I have only submitted the cpu on beginner and that was in the 3rd round after beating them up for 2 rounds.

I really want to make a career fighter with insane submission stats, but it won't be fun if it isn't a weapon against the cpu.

I tried to sub Shogun as Machida as Shogun has the lowest sub defense. I had to work his ribs from the mount for 2 rounds until they looked worse than Faber's leg,he had a quater of a bar,I used the level 3 side choke from the mount and STILL couldn't get a sub. Finally got one the next round after rocking him with more body kicks.

Wow, Machida's takedown is too much. This is definitely a problem. I'm afraid to see what they have for GSP.

Also, does anybody else notice that you can transition block without doing anything? Try it. Go to ground then just let go of your controller. You'll block at least one transition.
