UFC 121 - Lesnar vs. Velasquez

The UFC has confirmed the pay-per-view lineup for their super-stacked UFC 121 event, which goes down October 23rd at the Honda Center in Anaheim. Tune in and you will see Brock Lesnar go for his third heavyweight belt defense against Cain Velasquez, Jake Shields attempt to leapfrog Jon Fitch on the welterweight ladder by smashing Martin Kampmann, and Tito Ortiz try to take advantage of Matt Hamill's deafness-related lack of equilibrium. (Science!) Plus: Sanchez vs. Thiago, Schuab vs. Gonzaga, TUF 11 winner Court McGee stuffed onto the prelims and more. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Saturday at noon PT.

Lol at this. I think that is going to be a very good fight,
and on the prelims i hope both tuf 10 guys win, and that Cote gets back to his winning ways.
And of course, i will root for Brock against Cain

I wouldnt go to no shot... but i think Brock does win this fight in devestating fashion. People seem to think Brock has 0 striking whatsover after the Carwin fight. but he has a lot of power.

I agree...I just love Brock...So my opinion is always gonna be one-sided.

Has anyone really tested Cain's chin? I can't remember seeing him get rocked by anyone really, but I'm not the "mental snapshot" type who remembers those sorts of things really. Unless he has a suspect chin, I don't think Brock will drop him standing in the least... vice-versa if anything. I do think that Brock is probably just too big and will overwhelm him on the ground if it gets there, but I like Cain in this fight for some reason... just got that feeling. So much so I'll probably go stick $50 on him or so and see what happens.

Kongo tested it. I also like Cain. I think it should be a great fight.

Kongo finishes the fight if he is more well rounded. IF Brock does that to cain, the fight is over. Plus brock can get on top of him and do some gnp.

Yeah, the second Brock does that sort of thing to someone, he's gonna tackle the crap out of them and go for GnP. I dunno, I hope it stays standing, where Cain has a chance.

I honestly he KHTFO so people will quit saying he has 0 standup just cuz he was getting destroyed by Carwin.
And he will tackle them and finish it there. Once hes on top of you, your not getting off.

Like when he ruptured Heath Herring's eye with that first punch. Or when he "grazed" Randy with a shot to the temple and seconds later was all over him. Brock has shown that he has plenty of power in his fists, and I'm sure if given the opportunity, he will unleash them on Cain.
