Yeah, I don't think there is anyone in the division. Rashad probably has the best shot. He's the most well rounded and I think he could out wrestle him...but getting close enough to do it is a whole other thing and despite his slimmer body type Jones still out-muscles bulkier guys. I don't think Davis is ready, I guess we'll see.

That Mir/Nog fight was something else. I really didn't expect Nog to have much for Mir tonight, but he was sharp and I thought he had knocked Mir out when he rocked him. That's a hell of a recovery by Mir to come back and win that quickly, and no doubt he snapped his arm as well. Awesome fight. Some of the earlier comments said it should have been stopped when Nog was hurt, but that's a moot point when Mir won the fight. It's over when you can't win anymore, he was rocked but he recovered. Although Nog helped out by trying to grapple instead of keeping the pressure on with punches.
Jon Jones is really good. GOAT calls are still far, far too early but he's taking out everyone and he's had one of the best years in MMA history this past year. I think he beat Rampage, Machida, and Shogun all in one year.. that's nuts. I still pick Rashad to beat him, but that's a great fight and I can't wait to see it.
I was a bit bummed about Hominick going down so quick. I like the Zombie and Hominick, but Mark's on such a rough stretch it sucked to see him get dropped like that so fast. I scored the Ebersole fight for him, but that was crazy close.. you can't call robbery either way, the boos were more for the Canadian fighter losing. Tito losing sucked, I've always been a HBBB fan and marked out for "THE PEOPLE'S CHAMPION" call by Bruce Buffer.. hopefully they give him a Chris Lytle-like send off. Maybe against Stephan Bonnar.
Great night of fights. I've never squeaked like a girl so much like I did for the Mir/Nog fight, first when I realized it wasn't over and again when he destroyed Nog's arm.Kenny Bell with quote of the year: "I would play for Bo Pelini against Satan himself and a team of demons at the gates of the underworld."Comment

Rashad isn't beating Jones. I said that when they first scheduled the fight. 2 injuries later he's still not gonna do it. I thought Machida had the best chance and he was doing well enough then he got taken down. Even when people get in on Jones he'll just take 'em down and throw dem 'bos. Gonna need one bbbbbbbiiiiiiigggggg punch or kick to get Jones.
Great show from Mir. If he could be his best all the time that'd make things very intresting.
I expected that's what would happen with Jung and Homminick, just didn't expect it'd happen that fast.Comment

Dana just announced the 125 division with a 4 man tournament for the title.
Demetrious Johnson vs. Tachi Palace 125 lb. champion Ian McCall
Joey Benavidez vs. Shooto 125 lb. champion Yasuhiro Uru****ani
Awesome.

O yea, I'm a big Nog fan, but he deserved to lose. He had Mir down and out, instead of going for the finish, it seemed like he hesitated, then went for his back. Shoulda went for the kill.Originally posted by MoJust once I'd like to be the one they call a jerk off.Originally posted by MoYou underestimate my lazinessOriginally posted by Mo**** ya

No one in the LHW division can beat Jones right now. Maybe in the future - and maybe someone outside who just hasn't popped in yet will be the one, but right now... nadda.
It'll be interesting to see how his story line pans out.Comment

They're gonna need one of those Monks that fight blind and Mazagatti being the ref.
Still wanna see Jones vs. Mousasi. It'd be intresting while they're on their feet, for however long that is. Stanislav Nedkov is 12-0 but looking through the list I really don't see anyone that can deal with Jones.Comment

Until Mousasi proves he can improve that TDD, aint no way he has a chance vs. Bones.Comment
