2 new confirmed fights today:

Rory McDonald vs. Brian Ebersole
Rich Attonito vs. Claude Patrick

I had and still have a bad feeling about this card. The UFC could have put Lesnar vs Overeem on this card. Instead I think it will end up being some combination of Hendo/Machida/Davis in the Main Event and Ortiz vs. Franklin in the co-main event.

Didnt Franklin just have surgery for his shoulder though? I dont think he'd be fighting on this card if thats correct obviously.

Little Nog and Tito are hooking it up on this card now as well.

Yeah Jones had knee and hand injuries after 135.

Jones v. Machida signed for this card. Evans must be injured.

Still dont think Machida deserves a shot. It took Rampage 4 wins to get another shot at the belt and Machida gets one after one win over Couture?

Rashad is hurt pretty bad apparently with pins in his hand according to Dana.

This is the only plausible matchup at LHW though that keeps both Bones and Machida active. What are you gonna do? Let Bones sit there and wait for contenders to develop, all the while Bones is getting bigger and going to find it more difficult to cut weight?

Some people think Lyoto is the best matchup against Bones. I don't think Lyoto has earned this shot but I'm not gonna lie, I definitely am intrigued by this fight. Also, Rampage only needed 2 wins for his title shot (Machida and Matt Hamill) and there are people who thought Lyoto won against Rampage so..

I really wanted to see Rashad/Bones.



Moving on... Hendo deserved the shot over Machida, in my opinion. Hendo has only lost once in the past three years. They should change the Main Event at 139 to Rua vs. Machida & let Hendo take on Bones. Just my 0.02
