I find this thread so very amusing. Last night everybody was crying their eyes out for Chris Benoit, and today everybody hates the man. The factual information has not really changed from last night. There has been no insight into why the incident occur or what the motivation may have been.

I wasn't crying my eyes out last night and I'm certainly not right now.

The man could have experienced a severe psychological disorder that caused him to do what he did. Shouldn't there be just a little compassion? There has not been any report indicating that any of three died a violent death. Given that those closest to him have always spoken highly of him as a person, shouldn't judgment be reserved when all the facts are known?

Or he could've just done what millions of other people have done and gotten angry and killed them. I can't believe that you are trying to preach compassion for this guy when he killed his wife and son simply because he was on tv.

Last night I was devastated and felt bad for him and his family. Today I am even more devastated and just feel bad for his son and wife.

So did you defend the Virginia Tech guy when he killed all those people? How about Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold? It's one thing to state that he has a mental illness just as a fact and move on, it's another to try to use a mental illness that no one knows that he has to try to "soften" what happened or defend him. You trying to talk down to people because they don't care about some mental illness he may or may not have had is ridiculous.

I'm not defending him, it was horrible thing. But if you think that someone who kills themselves is all there, you're wrong. That's been my point the entire time.

yeah Interstate 85 now, down South in Newnan though. I grew up in Fayetteville off of Hwy 85 (different than I85) where this happened.

Cool, I pass through Newnan all the time when going to West Point Lake to fish. I grew up in College Park (far end of Old National Hwy) near Evander Holyfield's house.

I'm sorry to anyone I'm about to offend, but I'm mad now, I'm mad at myself for wasting tears and being sad over this piece of trash killing his wife and son then cowardly killing himself. I still say RIP, but only to his wife and son. He's nothing more than a murderer and a coward.
