Yeah. The top of the card kills anything since. Right place, right time with a number of guys hitting or approaching their peaks.

The rest...eh. Nothing too special. I guess at least they had storylines, which is a step up from today.

Yeah I was starting to get to Summerslam 2000 then I stopped watching and it was starting to get pretty good on the top of the card. Need to pick that up been a few months.

I'm in the invasion now, and the quality has dropped off a bit. The best WCW guys haven't come over, so some good WWE guys are left off the card.

Or when looking back on the past, you know how superstars panned out,so you view things much different. Like when people look at Rock vs HHH in the IC title feuds, they look at it today as two future hall of famers battling it out for the IC title. But back then people viewed it completely different.

Or DX even,a number of people were disgusted by the types of stuff they were saying/doing(USA Network even censored their "suck it" line, something people obviously know is even said by DX in todays "PC" WWE),but today people can look back on it and enjoy it/be entertained by stuff they did.
Now you're just making stuff up. We get it, you don't think the AE is as great as a lot of people believe it to be. Leave it at that. Don't start saying stuff that isn't accurate to try to build your case. People ate up the Rock vs HHH IC title feud. It's not a matter of looking back at it now as two hall of famers. The two of them and their feud was over then too and the only thing "different" about the way people viewed it then is that people knew they were looking at the future of the company similar to how people viewed Randy Orton and John Cena back in 03 and 04.

As for DX, as somebody that actually lives in the United States and watched DX from it's inception USA didn't censor Suck It. There may have been an occasion or two where they did if DX came out during the first hour of the show, but for the majority of their AE run, it wasn't censored as you imply as if it was always censored by USA then.

When DX first started with Shawn and HHH there were a lot of people disgusted by them the same way people would be bitching about it today if they did ANYTHING that the two of them were doing at that time today. There's literally nothing different man about then and today besides WWE not having the balls now to even think about allowing anybody to do some of the stuff DX was doing and even if they did it would be the same as it was then. Some people would get it and be entertained thoroughly by it and some people would be completely disgusted.

Anything that involved DX and the Nation was good. I remember them letting the entire stable just have a street fight in the ring. **** was ****ing awesome. Some good X-Pac/D'Lo matches came out of that stable feud.

The DX and Nation feud were some of my favorite moments of 1998.

There seemed to just be more storylines in the attitude era. Now you can pretty much watch the beginning/end of Raw and not miss much.

I like the occasional thrown together match on a PPV. They spend so much time recapping the storylines before each match on the PPVs now, but I'd much rather them throw together one or two matches with guys we don't usually see on Raw instead and let them have an 8-10 minute match and get some exposure

IYH: DX from 97...the card itself really wasn't that good, but it did feature the first Rock-Austin match! Austin feuding with NOD Rock(and that feud basically led to the birth of "The Rock" and referring to himself in the 3rd person).

lol, Austin beat The Rock and never even took his vest off.

And "The artist formerly known as goldust" was just messed up,even by attitude era standards, that whole thing was strange. Surely that's something Goldust regretted doing in his career?

1995 Starcade, Dusty Rhodes said that Ric Flair invented the Figure Four. Wrong American Dream!

Now there's Sting, Luger and Flair in a Triangle Match, where you have to be tagged in.

I forgot how bad some of this stuff in WCW was.

There was a triangle tag match earlier that year, I'm pretty sure it was the PPV where they filmed the WCW Baywatch episode. It was the Nasty Boys, Harlem Heat and the Blue Bloods and Heenan had no idea what the rules of the match were. He legitimately thought if the champs just don't tag in and don't get pinned they can't lose the titles
