Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Good. It's been a long time since they added anything to the "Old School" section of the vault. I don't get why WWE just doesn't dump most of those old shows onto the Network. I grew up watching those MSG/Boston Garden/Maple Leaf Gardens shows, and I'd like to think I'm not the only one looking for that content.Currently Playing:

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I think the reason they don't just put so much more content on is so they can constantly add new things over time to try and get people to renew their subscription and stuff. That way, if they did have everything at once, people might just subscribe once, watch all they want to watch in that span, and don't subscribe again.
Think about it, lets say many peoples subscriptions are ending soon, most of which don't want to renew. If they suddenly find out WWE is uploading abunch of episodes of Raw from 1998, wouldn't you think that might convince some people to renew?Comment

Uncut and uncensored, but not in its original format. When was the last time you watched a video tape? That needs to be cleaned up.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
to elaborate on my earlier post, the following ECW content is being added
forty episodes of Hardcore TV and 1995s November to remember and Hardcore Heaven and Cyberslam 1996
i think if the Network did a large content dump every month or 2 they could gain or keep subscribers, the next content dump i'd like to see the next two years of nitro or two years of thunderLast edited by nate1986; 11-06-2014, 05:30 PM.Comment

I enjoyed the Jericho MNW episode, haven't gotten to The Rock one yet because I've just assumed it's probably the same ol story we've heard many times.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Gonna watch Survivor Series 97 tomorrow. Gonna hate doing so but I'm going through all of 1997 stuff right now and will start 1998 stuff next year.
Looking back at HBK in 97 and all,if I was watching RAW at the time,I know for sure I would've hated him. Even knowing how much he changed during his comeback run and I did like him and all during the comeback run, can't stand the old HBK looking back at some of the stuff he did in 97.
And sad to watch Owen stuff in 97 realizing he'd soon be "on his own" with rest of Hart Foundation gone.
SS97 card looks GREAT. Though surprised how many elimination matches they had,but NONE were the 5 on 5 match. 2 matches look boring on the card though. Godwins/New Age Outlaws vs Headbangers,Blackjacks and DOA vs Truth Commission.
Half the card thrown together.Canada vs USA match you'd think would have build, especially at a PPV in Canada. Instead, they randomly put 2 nobodies on Team Canada with Neidhart/Bulldog and team up Goldust,Mero,Blackman,Vader for no reason(as none were feuding with Hart Foundation at all). Seeing things like that, makes you appreciate some of the things you take for granted in WWE today.Last edited by Majingir; 11-07-2014, 11:21 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Or when looking back on the past, you know how superstars panned out,so you view things much different. Like when people look at Rock vs HHH in the IC title feuds, they look at it today as two future hall of famers battling it out for the IC title. But back then people viewed it completely different.
Or DX even,a number of people were disgusted by the types of stuff they were saying/doing(USA Network even censored their "suck it" line, something people obviously know is even said by DX in todays "PC" WWE),but today people can look back on it and enjoy it/be entertained by stuff they did.Last edited by Majingir; 11-08-2014, 02:02 PM.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
When the network launched, I started at Wrestlemania 14, and I'm about 3 1/2 years in now. The top of the card in the attitude era was amazing. But everything else wasn't good. 2000-2001 has been much better top to bottomComment
