Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The age old problem in wrestling.
When anything regular happens "lol wrestling. You know it's fake? Oiled up guys in spandex. Who cares about that?"
When something edgy/controversial happens "What is wrong with wrestling! How dare they do that! I am offended by what I just saw and the people involved in that should be ashamed of themselves!"
Sitcoms and talk shows can make jokes about various topics. If Wrestling does it, they need to apologize.
Dramas/action shows and movies can have blood, violence, sexual content, if wrestling does it, there's a major problem with people complaining straight to WWE(or even USA Network).
Everything about wrestling is fake to people, until anything controversial/edgy happens, then suddenly it's the realest show on TV.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
A new WWE Untold airs next Sunday May 26th that takes an inside look at the almost relaunch of WCW, AKA The Big Bang.
The Big Bang was going to be the true revival of WCW, but it never happened. See inside for details on a WWE Network special set to look at this moment in time.
Below is the WWE Network synopsis for the special:
Eric Bischoff, Booker T and more tell the true story of how WCW almost relaunched with a ‘big bang’ in 2001.Comment

I think wrestling catches more flack compared to other TV b/c it's sold as being real.If you ever attended a WWE live event (house shows and PPVs) which wrestler(s) did you buy a ticket to see? https://forms.gle/d5uh8iifDbfDBdDd8Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The entire concept of REALITY TV sells you on the idea of it being real but I guess Hollywood can do that since they can get away with things Pro Wrestling can't. Now talking reality TV, the Monday Night Wars was 100%, legit reality TV. You never knew who was going to show up on which show, what would happen, we had no knowledge of contracts running out, who could sign, etc. When Scott Hall showed up on Nitro, your first thought is "What's Razor Ramon doing on Nitro? Nobody knew they signed with WCW and their contracts ran out. Now a days reality shows are heavily scripted with fake drama to present the "reality" part of it with Pro Wrestling being more real than reality TV. It's crazy........ the best part is we all get to relive it for $9.99 a month.Comment

I don’t know if there is anything left to cover that we haven’t already heard, but this show on the network tonight on the failed attempt to relaunch WCW looks interestingComment
