Speaking of oiled up guys in spandex, I've never seen anyone glistening like the Hulkster in the promo that starts around the 9 minute mark. GOAT when it comes to applying the oil

Sitcoms and talk shows can make jokes about various topics. If Wrestling does it, they need to apologize.

Dramas/action shows and movies can have blood, violence, sexual content, if wrestling does it, there's a major problem with people complaining straight to WWE(or even USA Network).

Everything about wrestling is fake to people, until anything controversial/edgy happens, then suddenly it's the realest show on TV.
Which is why I find it hilarious as a wrestling fan that people who watch Game of Thrones are signing petitions to have them re-do the entire last season. Also, I get to use this picture again............

Below is the WWE Network synopsis for the special:

Eric Bischoff, Booker T and more tell the true story of how WCW almost relaunched with a ‘big bang’ in 2001.

I think wrestling catches more flack compared to other TV b/c it's sold as being real.
If you ever attended a WWE live event (house shows and PPVs) which wrestler(s) did you buy a ticket to see? https://forms.gle/d5uh8iifDbfDBdDd8

I think it’s mostly because most people are at least 25% stupid.

Wrestling hasn't been sold as real since the 80's.

True but how often these days are people wondering if something is a shoot or not especially w/ wrestlers using social media.

Depends on if you are a trying to break the story first or if you are waiting on the facts to come out.

If you want to break the story first, it's a shoot.

If you wait for the facts, it's prob a work.

I've always heard people say this as a way to discredit pro wrestling but I never could figure out why. How did a wrestler staying in character to make you believe that he was a bad person and the person you saw on TV become a way to discredit pro wrestling? We suspend our disbelief when we watch TV shows and movies, we know it's not real but for the time your watching it you believe what your watching is real and you get hooked on the story telling, similar to pro wrestling.

The entire concept of REALITY TV sells you on the idea of it being real but I guess Hollywood can do that since they can get away with things Pro Wrestling can't. Now talking reality TV, the Monday Night Wars was 100%, legit reality TV. You never knew who was going to show up on which show, what would happen, we had no knowledge of contracts running out, who could sign, etc. When Scott Hall showed up on Nitro, your first thought is "What's Razor Ramon doing on Nitro? Nobody knew they signed with WCW and their contracts ran out. Now a days reality shows are heavily scripted with fake drama to present the "reality" part of it with Pro Wrestling being more real than reality TV. It's crazy........ the best part is we all get to relive it for $9.99 a month.

I don’t know if there is anything left to cover that we haven’t already heard, but this show on the network tonight on the failed attempt to relaunch WCW looks interesting

Throw in the Faces of Fear too. 1996/1997 WCW was so great.

Anyone else notice an increase in WWE Network ads on YouTube? Seems like before every video I watch some Network ad specifically about Undertaker, The Rock, Goldberg/Taker video hyping up their match next week. Never seen this many Network ads on YouTube before............... Double Or Nothing. Just saying.
