Kenny Omega was being a baby about it, luckily he deleted his tweet...but still not a good look from him. His tweet said "If lining your pockets with blood money is okay, then what’s wrong with trying to undermine a charity show for victims of gun violence? I hear that healthy competition is supposed to be a good thing and yet I can’t help but feel like I’m gonna be sick."

Nice job being a douche Kenny.
Blood money. Next time he fills up his gas tank I hope he remembers that blood money.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Yeah it's super silly and getting butthurt over the company y'all have been taking shots at for months now finally fires back at you? Also it's a FREE show for charity. Not like it's hurting their bottom line. Also, I'm pretty sure anyone that was gonna watch AEW still willl...it's 2019, we all know how to stream multiple things at once.
Makes me extremely thankful I grew up when I did and technology has progressed the way it has because can you imagine this twitter "beef" **** during the Attitude Era?Comment

Exactly. Just a pitiful look.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
I get the response from AEW and how it can seem petty by WWE, just hilarious it's Kenny taking the moral high ground here. Just google the issues surrounding the CEOxNJPW show from last year and one of the guys who worked a dark match on the show. But my real question for Kenny is why wasn't this an issue when it was broadcasting it on WWNLive? But now that Gabe (owner of Evolve) and Trips decided to run it on the Network, it's now some huge issue.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Yeah, so many things could be pointed out to him about how hypocritical and stupid that was to say, which I'm sure was said to him, hence the deletion. He still negotiated a contract with WWE after their Saudi shows were held, he's been taking shots at WWE for how long?
I like AEW and am really excited for what they are bringing, but **** like this is why people call us millennials soft. "Hey I want to re-create the Monday Night wars era and make wrestling competitive again, so I'm gonna take shots at you over and over again...but if you respond back in any way, you're a mean jerk!".Comment

It’s because Kenny is a titbag

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The Blood Money comment wasn't the problem. Like I said it's the guy the message's coming from. If the comment came from Cody or Brandi, there's no real issue with it. It would just be why the hell do you actually care if the show's main purpose is raising awareness for gun violence and donating a large sum of money to those who were affected by the issue? But where it came from the guy who was reportedly negotiating with WWE for over 2 years now (he wasn't for one of those years, tbf) and has a checkered past of his own when it comes to running shows that's not a great look.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Finally on "The Wedding" episode of Raw.
Spoiler-Raw kicks off live from the NEW Staples "Arena"(JR called it that all night). It's so new that the Lakers hadn't even played here for a full month yet. It's also the home of WM2000. Tickets "only available through mail order"
-Show revolves around 1 thing, the Test/Steph wedding. I wonder what people thought of Test back then. Did they think he could be a main eventer? Or was HHH/Steph the plan backstage all along?
-In middle of DX intro, the arena speakers start playing some weird music in the background. Them showing the video of Vince ramming his car into the DX limo like a maniac never gets old. Vince comes out and announces "nobody except those invited and members of the McMahon family are allowed out there. Anyone else will be fired"
-Edge vs Matt Hardy. Match breaks out into an unofficial tag. They cut to a double feature replay in the middle of a pinfall which ended up being a 3 count.
-Throughout the night they showed highlights of Stephs bachelorette party from Vegas. The waiter gives Steph alot to drink. Moolah/Mae "borrow" the "electrician".
-Backstage throughout the night is Acolytes playing cards with Dudleys. It ends with Bubba winning with '6 aces' in a 5 card game lol.
-Too Cool w/ Rikishi vs Hollys. JRs comments on Rikishi "Rikishi isn't posterior challenge". JR ripping on Scotty 2 Hotty all match long.
-HHH vs Test as a wedding gift to Test. Special guest is Vince McMahon....or a guy in a Vince McMahon match (which 100% can't be Vince McMahon since HHH has a restraining order on Vince). HHH tries to Scooby Doo the ref but fails.
-Al Snow tries to convince Foley to make him the mystery 3rd man for Foley/Rocks team. Snow is jealous of Rock n Sock and rips on The Rock. He doesn't realize Rock is standing right behind him lol. Rock has no idea who Al Snow is, and Als like "How do you not know me? You saw me last week..." lol
-Kane ends up being the mystery partner, and Al Snow costs them the match by accident.
-Now for the fun part. The wedding! They made it all so big and formal. Introducing the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Then we have Linda,Shane come out and then Test. Then of course Vince and Steph enter. Long wedding speech from the minister aside, he asks the whole "if anyone feels they shouldn't be married, speak now" bit, nobody enters. 20 seconds later...HHH comes out and we all know what happens next!
I've never seen the Test/Steph wedding in full (most I've ever seen is the condensed versions WWE showed on TV when doing "best of Raw" highlights). And certainly not the bachelorette party which explains it. The waiter was a guy HHH hired to get Steph real drunk and ended up being the witness/guy who filmed HHH/Steph getting married. Then they "kidnapped" Steph. The whole drive through wedding chapel scene went on for awhile too. Almost like the woman marrying them thought it was legit.Comment
