Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Welcome to the final Raw of the century/millennium!
Spoiler
DX kick off Raw. HHH challenges Big Show to a match for the WWF title, because HHH is the "singest superstar ever" lol. Fans love hating Steph. They weren't calling her a mutt. Mankind interrupts and breaks kayfabe slightly. Recognizing that a year ago (December 1998) DX helped Foley win the WWF title (although it obviously didnt air until that infamous January 4th show). Mick tells Steph that Godfather wants her in the back on his ho train lol. DX beats up Foley, Rock makes the save. HHH says Rock vs Foley in a pink slip on a pole match. If you're not down with that, they got 2 words for ya..."you're fired!".
Tori returns from her Christmas with Xpac. She tells Kane how much she loved it. During the break Test tries talking to her and she runs away terrified. Later she claims Test made a move on her and instead of Xpac, Kane should face Test
MSP introduced as guest ref, ring announcer and timekeeper. 4 corner tag match. Godfather and "rubber neck" Dlo vs "the 2 brothers with diff mothers" (now in camo) vs edge and Christian vs the MSPs "bffs" the Acolytes. Dudleys win after MSP attack Bradshaw and make fast count.
HHH looks to put an end to Stephs crush, and Angles undefeated streak. Angle vs Headbangers! Headbangers come out dressed like a weirder Marilyn Manson. Angle still wins.
Al Snow comes out with a shoot style promo, saying no writer told him to say any of it. Jericho interrupts. Chyna comes in and helps Jericho win because as JR said "Chyna just gave Al Snow head!".
Mark Henry gets Harvey Wippleman to go on a double date with Mae and Moolah lol. The segments to follow were bad. It ended with Mark and Mae leaving together to "cuddle"...
Mankind vs Rock. Loser is fired. Al Snow comes in and tries helping Mankind. Mankind attacks Snow. Rock wins and Mankind is fired. Mankind reveals he was planning on retiring in 2000 anyways. Fans give him a standing ovation on his way out.
Foley starts saying his goodbyes backstage. He goes to the production truck which you can clearly see the old WWF logo still on it, cheaply patched up by the new logo.
Poor Test. Led to believe he was gonna get a major push. Russo left, McMahon changed plans, no wedding, now he's ending the year getting accused of making Tori uncomfortable.
NAO vs Too Cool. Xpac ruins everything. Rikishi takes out DX by himself. He did it for Too Cool.
HHH vs Big Show for the title. HHH very loudly calls some moves during match. You could even hear him yell "SIDESLAM" right infront the camera. Mankind comes in and costs HHH the match.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
The Sasha Banks episode of Chronicle is worth the watch if you're a fan of hers.
Wouldn't recommend it if you're Jim Cornette because it's all out of character and they use real names, but everyone else is probably okay.Comment

Ah, some more episodes of Thunder were uploaded this week. I'm sure it can't be that bad.

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Three Hidden Gems this week.
First, a show they're calling "The Road to SuperClash III", which is apparently as much of a 1988 AWA TV taping that WWE could compile into one video. It features 18 matches:

Ron Garvin vs. Scott Steiner
Kerry von Erich vs. Gary Young
Greg Gagne vs. Mike Enos
Tag Team Match Madusa Miceli & Sylvia vs. Magnificent Mimi & Wendi Richter
The Badd Company (Pat Tanaka & Paul Diamond) (w/Diamond Dallas Page) vs. Natures Best (Bill Justin & Darryl Justin)
Terry Adonis & The Hangman vs. The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson)
Texas Heavyweight Title: King Parsons (c) vs. Michael Hayes
Steve Cox vs. Terry Garvin
Keith Eric & Sgt. Slaughter vs. Soldat Ustinov & Teijo Khan
Manny Fernandez vs. Wahoo McDaniel
Chavo Guerrero, Hector Guerrero & Mando Guerrero vs. The Hangman & The Rock ‘n’ Roll RPM’s (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane)
Alan Reynolds vs. Col. DeBeers
Ray Odyssey & Shawn Baxter vs. The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu)
Jerry Lawler vs. Terry Adonis
Bill Dundee & Brickhouse Brown vs. The Stud Stable (Jimmy Golden & Robert Fuller)
Cactus Jack, The Badd Company (Pat Tanaka & Paul Diamond) & The Rock ‘n’ Roll RPM’s (Mike Davis & Tommy Lane) vs. Jeff Jarrett, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) & The Top Guns (John Paul & Ricky Rice)
Jerry Lawler & Jimmy Valiant vs. Kerry von Erich & Michael Hayes
The other two are:
Texas Rasslin’ 01/12/1954 – The Power of Karate
Witness the devastating effects of Karate Wrestling in this bizarre contest from the 1950’s featuring Phil Silva.
AWA 08/25/1973 – Arm Wrestling Armageddon
It’s a battle of the biceps as Superstar Billy Graham takes on The Great Scott in an arm wrestling contest.Comment

Re: WWE Network Discussion Thread
Did anyone have issues with the network through the Fire Stick for the PPV on Sunday? Everything seemed fine until I clicked on the kickoff show while it was live and nothing happened. It was the same when the main show started. Couldn't get it to work.
Had to watch through my Xbox.Comment
