It's a really tough one. If he turns heel now, I think he adopts the character of 'I'm a dynasty, I've been holding everyone down for so long' - smarmy I don't care attitude.

I reckon he would feud with Ambrose first, or maybe even Randy Orton. Wait, wait, hear me out!

Heel Cena vs Face Orton I reckon could be really good because it's never been seen before.

After Cena beats Orton, he engages in a feud with Daniel Bryan, and that's where he starts rubbing in all his achievements - maybe even bring in some of their personal stuff, wives and girlfriends initially, before it strictly becomes just between those two and they have a HIAC match or Mania main event.

I reckon as a result of that, ratings (and network subs) go up, and at least initially, Cena's run as a top heel would be well received.

It would at least allow some upward mobility on the face side, maybe Ziggler, Cesaro or Sami Zayn would end up at the top of the pile as well.

What if... Christian returned as Jeff Hardy's attacker as was originally planned?

Probably would have just gone on as a feud with good matches but would have easily been forgotten. A Hardy Boys feud was at least an attempt at being memorable.

What if Curtis Axel/Michael McGillicudy went by the name of Joe Hennig with no nexus, and was pushed as Mr. Perfect's son from the beginningV

I think he would have won the IC title like he did, and then who knows? I think in 2010-12 there were probably more opportunities for guys like him, so he may have challenged for the World Heavyweight Championship. I think he could have had a good feud with Orton or Sheamus.

What if Austin wasn't pretty much forced to retire in 2003?
