After Evolve (of all ****ing wrestling companies) announced they were running their show the same day as Fight for the Fallen, AEW has announced Jericho will be appearing on the show.

AEW definitely experiencing growing pains and it's showing here with a bunch of young guys that have never run a wrestling company, cause this is amateur hour...

Also, they changed Mox match to unsanctioned. So guessing that basically means anything goes.

I think this is my first non WWE hardcore match watching since AJ vs Bully when they had that whole Bully/Hogan stuff.

Looking forward to watching this event. I've never used BR Live before. Do you have to watch it LIVE, or can you pause it or just watch it from the beginning like 30 mins after it starts?

Updated Fight For the Fallen Card after tonight, I imagine on The Road to Fight for The Fallen we'll get some new matches added as I can't see it being only 4 matches.

It's another smaller show, so I'm not sure if we see all the big names. Lucha Bros, Moxley, etc.

Yeah. People defending it are dumb. And that's not even how it was supposed to happen.

The Janela/Moxley match is about as far as they will go. Janela might do crazier **** on their PPVs, but nothing insane. The indies are the place to go for that, but even they don't do stupid attitude era type chair shots.

That's the take from twitter you're going with? Not the one that said "If you're complaining about this (video of chair shot below) you've never seen Mankind vs The Rock I Quit match... #FyterFest"? Weird choice, but ok.

But yea some of the takes on Twitter over this spot have been horrendous.

Just an ordinary chairshot to the head. Not even on the verge of a Benoit or Foley shot. It was an over the head swing. Cody ducked down as the chair was coming down on his head. It's middle of the road in chairshots to the head if that makes sense.

The issue isnt edginess, it's something very unsafe which happened. They did plan for it to go differently, but theres a reason wwe has certain moves like piledrivers banned as well. You might practice it or have a spot set up where "nothing is supposed to go wrong", but when dealing with the head, you gotta be way more careful.


And the Mox match did all their extreme stuff and nobody bladed. Did that take away from the match? You can do edgy stuff while still looking after guys health.

Was just about to say that. Seems like they wanted the Death Match guys against some peeps. Spears and MJF shouldn't be in the match. If anything we should get MJF vs. Spears.

Edit: Okay, they had MJF acknowledge it...so wondering how they include this into storyline.
