Re: AEW Discussion Thread
Wow so I went to the website where you buy tickets (just to look, not to actually buy) and they use a damn in-line system. My number in line is 66,130 and there's 57,030 people ahead of me with an estimated wait time of over an hour. And if you leave the website or close the tab, you lose your place in line.
I didn't know online ticket purchasing could be like that. Interesting. I'm sure they will sell out soon.
Edit: Got a message saying the sale ended...that **** sold out fast!Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
They have outgrown it because they’re new. They need to create as much demand as possible and leave folks out in the cold a few times so that when they do move on to bigger shows they ensure that the tickets will all be sold.

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
Really? Not sure I am a fan of that. I love Conrad, but that's like $1,000 for a good seat. I'd rather more people had an opportunity to go.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
This is 100% correct. The biggest thing new clubs/events don’t realize is that when you first start out the line outside your door is just as, if not more important than the lines inside your door.

Great Interview with Shawn Spears. I laughed when he said he told Vince that they were insulting the fans intelligence because that is such irony.

Meltzer saying that the demand for All Out was greater than the demand for WM 35

He’s like yeah so WWE sold out MetLife stadium quick, but um the demand was less.
I think you can probably bet that a wrestling promotion would rather cash the checks from selling out a football stadium versus an 11,000 seat arena.
Good ole pot stirring Dave.

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
Yeah, I don't buy that they could have legit sold out a 100,000 seat stadium.
It's one thing for a ton of people to join an online queue to see if they could get lucky and get a really good seat to possibly resell later, but it's another for them to 100% sell that many tickets.
Then again, I can't wrap my head around WWE selling out football stadiums every year based on fans remembering when they were actually good 15+ years. So I could easily be wrong.Comment

WWE sells them out because it’s Wrestlemania and that’s an actual thing in the mainstream world too.

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
WM is like the SB. Fans dont care as much about who's playing or the quality of the show itself. They go because its THE show to be at. It's such a big event, and for these cities you dont know how often a chance you'll have to go.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
They should all be free or very very inexpensive until their TV show starts.
