AEW Discussion Thread
I think gimmick matches should be for feud blowoffs. Hopefully that’s what he thinks too. I don’t want gimmicks just because they don’t do them on Raw.

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
I'm not saying have them for sake of having them, but definitely could have them on TV and PPVs.
The big moments get the ladder matches and steel cages(where theres no door. Make it old school you must climb out from the top). But other matches if needed we could see simpler gimmicks like falls count anywhere, no dq, elimination, submission and so on.
Having regular one on one or two on two matches can only be interesting for so long before people get bored of it.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
Just a little thing, but I wonder what their hashtag will be. Will it just be #Dynamite? Because I'm sure random people seeing the name trending won't exactly think it's a show or anything or click to see why its trending.
Lol, while typing this I literally just figured it out. TNT Dynamite. That's why it's called Dynamite. Probably even use #TNTDynamite. They better shell out the money to use the ACDC song in the debut TV commercials.Last edited by Majingir; 06-22-2019, 06:26 PM.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
After turning off the resale tickets on Ticketmaster, Fight for The Fallen still has plenty of tickets available. I know it's a smaller show with the main draw being The Bucks vs The Rhodes but am surprised with all the hype and how fast All Out sold out, there are tickets available. I'm considering making the drive down there and going since I couldn't get tickets for All Out but not sure yet.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
I haven't posted but I've been following for weeks now. Really interested in AEW.
This upcoming show is not too far from me in Daytona. Tried to see if the wife wanted to go but she looked at me like I was bat **** crazy.
Prices aren't bad either. I'm mostly curious to see what the crowds look like down here and how many people are aware of the new brand."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I'll probably end up going just a matter of hotel costs at this point with tickets being the same price I bought WWE Clash of Champions Tickets for.Comment

After Evolve (of all ****ing wrestling companies) announced they were running their show the same day as Fight for the Fallen, AEW has announced Jericho will be appearing on the show.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
How dare AEW try and counter the WWE partnering with Evolve by using a 50 year old former WWE champion on their show.
