AEW has officially announced that Double or Nothing will go on as scheduled May 23rd at 8pm. More details will be revealed in the coming weeks. Double or Nothing 2021 will take place on May 29th, 2021. For fans who have purchased tickets to this years event, AEW has announced fans can be issused refunds OR use their tickets for admission into the 2021 event.

WWE cuts coming. I know people don't want AEW to just pickup all ex WWE guys, but there will be some names worth getting.

Revival and now Gallows/Anderson are gone from WWE. Those 2 added to the tag division will be huge.

Not a big release, but I wouldn't be shocked seeing Hawkins end up in Best Friends. Ryder could probably have a shot too.


Perhaps we see Rowan come in to AEW too? I remember on Brodies interview with Jericho he was talking about Rowan and didnt want to go into too much detail so Rowan wouldn't get in trouble, but I'd imagine he wasnt happy in WWE either.

Now Rusev too. I know AEW doesn't want too many talent on the roster where half end up having nothing going for them, but theres so many names to choose from right now. A number of which are better than what they have now.

I'm sure people would rather see what a Rusev or Club could do in AEW over many others.

The grace period over the trademark for Cody Rhodes expired (WWE originally trademarked it for 10 years, it expired in October, and there was a 6 month grace period after).

Immediately after it expired, Cody got on it. So looks like we'll get the Cody Rhodes name officially back on TV.

Speaking of Trademarks, Cody's obsession with old WCW PPV names continues, and WWE is attempting to block. WWE is opposing the trademarks applied by Cody, "Slamboree" and "The Match Beyond".

Jerichos podcasts with AEW talent are often good, the latest with Britt Baker is a unique one since it goes over her dentist and wrestling career.

Nice hearing one with someone newer to the business compared to those who have been in wwe or traveled all around the world.

AEWs womens division isnt so good, but she's definitely the top woman on their roster. I wouldn't mind them giving her a long run.


And I do believe the whole "producer didnt know who she was when showing her on tv" stuff. At most they probably know she's Adam Cole girlfriend and would give bigger reactions than the average fan, but higher ups in wwe I cant imagine knowing fully about other companies talent. Afterall, the trending topic after Takeover wasnt the insane cage match, it was her appearing on tv, so no way that was intentional.

Interesting to hear how she probably could've made it in NXT. They actually looked out for her best interest by rejecting her. Wanting her to go after her degree rather than give it up or pause it to become a wrestler. She was in that final group of talent about to get hired and seems like most others did like Lacey, Belair and others.

AEW absolutely was best case scenario for her. I don't ever see her winding up in WWE unless she manages to get some 1 or 2 nights a week job in NXT.

Dr. Britt Baker has been pulled from Double or Nothing after suffering a serious knee injury that is rumored to be a torn ACL. She got hurt when Statlander & Shida did a double team move throwing Nyla on Baker and Nyla landed on Britt's knee.

Statlander will now face Penelope Ford at Double or Nothing.

That totally sucks for her & you could tell it was a serious knee injury when she couldn't support any weight on it. Hopefully she'll make a full recovery and be back in 9 - 12 months.
