If they didn't, they do now.

And people are talking about the ad which is the point.

They paid same as all the car,bank and restaurant companies paid for their respective ads. I'm sure more people are talking about the AEW ad after all that.

Not everyone even saw it and the story died by the time NXT went to commercial again.

Also why is anyone shocked by this? The audience for the 2 shows is the same. Wouldn't be shocked at all if this becomes commonplace really. Where each company has ads running during the other show.

He may not be talking in kayfabe, but this no different then the Seth stuff that happened 2 months ago. When Seth said WWE had the best wrestling in the world. I expect nothing else from a company man, especially when said company has a huge spot in the company. Both are corny as hell, especially given one of Kenny's friends and former tag team partners is the NXT champion right.
