Re: AEW Discussion Thread
The wildcard rule strikes again. The new 711 European aew hardcore 247 champion, RTruth!
But really though, that's crazy. How could something like that happen? I wonder who actually took it.
I wonder if this is why WWE doesn't let talent keep the actual title when travelling and gives them a replica instead.
These titles need GPS trackers lol.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
So Jericho was walking around the airport with his title in his hand and not with the rest of his luggage? Sounds a little fishyComment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
Regardless, I have never understood why any wrestling company lets the superstars walk around possessing the belts in public. One of the archaic things that should end.NFL- Green Bay Packers
NCAA- Florida State Seminoles
NHL- Carolina HurricanesComment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
The police report says Jericho grabbed the wrong luggage? Which would mean someone ended up with Jericho's luggage and took the belt by accident. Then Jericho sitting in his hot tub at his home cuts a promo about it.... which was posted on AEW's Twitter Account. This seems like a storyline to build into the TV show?Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
I remember the story Big Show told about the rib Hogan played on him after he won the WCW Title. Hogantold him to wear the belt in the airport to let people know he's the champ. Then Sting told him how stupid he looked for wearing it lol.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
The more I think about it, the stranger the handling of this Kylie Rae release gets from both the company and journalists. Like when announcing that Kylie was granted her release, Tony seems really awkward and caught off guard that the topic even came. Also she hasn't wrestled in nearly 3 months, when was AEW even going to make a statement if it wasn't brought up this past weekend (in the post media scrum or at Brandi's Starrcast panel)? Brandi avoided the question entirely saying, "no comment".
Tony said she had asked for her release, granted it and then that it was an amicable release. And during the post media scrum that's all we got, without any follow up questions. I'm not asking for the reporters to ask why she wanted her release due to wanting to give Kylie her privacy. But why not ask something like, "When did Kylie ask for her release"? There's definitely some story here and the reporters should be trying to get the end of it.Comment

Re: AEW Discussion Thread
The police report lists the title as costing between 20k and 100k.
Never knew they were so expensive.
The police have found the title.
I wonder who stole it. Surely a story this public will lead to us finding out the name of whoever did it.Last edited by Majingir; 09-04-2019, 11:51 AM.Comment
