Sammy is still a kid. He was 22 when he made the joke. Not an excuse, but hopefully people don't go too far in ruining the guy. People on social media want to cancel everyone and everything.Comment

We can acknowledge a few different things. He's a young guy, but even at 22 should have had the sense to know there are other ways to say you think a woman is hot. I mean, we're all (?) guys here - I know we have other terms for this.
Other than that, if he and Sasha talked it out this story should be done.Comment

Nah at 22 you’re not a kid. You know damn well what that implies by that age. I don’t think he deserves to have his career ruined but he def deserves some time off to go to sensitivity training. Have him make a PSA or something. Idiot.

Guy was supremely talented and entertaining and one of the biggest reasons I tuned into AEW every week. Oh well I guess.Comment

Obviously they were going to respond, they employ the guy - I meant from a fan perspective.
If everyone involved has addressed it and dealt with it, it should be done as a public thing. But "should" isn't "will" and there are many people who want to be offended on another's behalf, so it'll probably stick around a little bit longer.
He's still talented and he'll be back. Then he'll be both talented and a guy who doesn't say he wants to rape women he finds attractive.
