Putting two guys near 50 in their top 2 matches doesn't seem all that different to WWE. I'm a little disappointed that they went with matches we've already seen in other promotions to occupy the top spots.

If you wanna draw eyeballs for your first event, having known people is necessary.

Ain't nobody gonna tune in if it's headlined by CIMA and Marty Scrull.

Personally, I don't see this card drawing in many casual fans, but I could be wrong.

I agree with your overall point but I don't see Goldust as that type of headliner like a Jericho is. But I fully get why Cody decided to run this match back. For whatever reason people seem to want this match.

I don't think Cody/Dustin will be anywhere near the main event. Say what you want about Cody, but he knows his in-ring limitations.

I'm thinking Bucks/Lucha main event, and Cody/Jericho right before. Or vice versa.

I agree with your overall point but I don't see Goldust as that type of headliner like a Jericho is. But I fully get why Cody decided to run this match back. For whatever reason people seem to want this match.

I'm not saying Goldust is a big headliner by any means. The main point is he's well known in the wrestling world anyway and it's slim pickings for available big names out there.

Jericho says tv deal will be announced soon. I'm guessing it's before their may show. After all, you want to start promoting this as soon as possible.

And if it is on TNT, you'd want to get ads in during the NBA playoffs.

I'm sure we'll see every "insider" speculating on date. I mean you have a 1 in 7 chance of being right (although no way they'll make it go up vs Raw, or SD, or NBA nights, so that basically doubles your odds of being right).

Wednesday (the 15th) is the day we'll find out officially.

Thursdays you have NBA on TNT for majority of the year.

Not sure what TNT scheduling is like, so perhaps weekend could be an option too(though I doubt Sunday gets consideration. No way AEW wants to go up against SNF or Baseball, or any WWE PPV).

In the end, Tuesday/Wednesday/Saturday are only options I see left. And during NBA playoffs, I wonder what type of TV schedule they'd be forced to have (unless they decide to make May their offseason)

I'm gonna take a guess and say it's TNT/TBS.

It's not. From everything I've read/heard any chance of them getting a deal on a Turner channel went out the window with the Turner and AT&T merger. I'm guessing they'll end up on like WGN or AXS.

I’m a Warner/ Att employee and I can’t see anyway they go this route unless it’s for B/R Live and people well hate that.

My money is on Axs.
