Re: AEW Off-Topic
Tony Schiavone announced on Twitter that AEW is returning to the Queen City in Charlotte, NC for a live episode of AEW Dynamite on Wednesday July 28th at the Bojangles Coliseum, the same venue they were at for the go home show to Full Gear in November 2019.Comment

I feel like these should be some PPVs as well, kinda like how IMPACT has their B shows on IMPACT+.Last Movie Watched: Morbius (2022).
Last TV Show Watched: MARVEL's What If?...(S3:E7).

Re: AEW Off-Topic
Just read about Arn Anderson's son Brock debuting soon and he's apparently 23 years old. Figured Arn Anderson was old enough to have grown grandkids by now but he's 62 so he was 39 when Brock was born. With his hairline I figured he was in his late 30's or early 40's during the 1980's but I guess that's not the case.Comment

Only 62 means he was in his late 30s during the Monday night wars! Felt like he was some longtime vet in his mid to late 40s by then.Comment

Re: AEW Off-Topic
I googled this the other day, check out this article w/ pics showing how much older people used to look in their 20s-40s compared to people in their 20s-40s now.

Off topic, but TV shows (not talking wrestling) are obviously the worst for this. They cast people in their 20s or 30s as high schoolers and people in their 30s or 40s as middle age parents. Sad looking back on some TV shows and realizing the people playing the adult kids on a show might be similar age or older than whoever was cast to be their parent.Comment

But I'll say it here, the video game deal is the "short term pain, long term gain" type of move. Right now obviously the video game deal looks bad because you dont have a game, but once the app game and other stuff drops, you're making money back. And obviously lack of fans at shows will hurt them too. Let's say you get 10,000 fans at a show once a week where average ticket price might be $30, that's over 300k from that a week.
AEW has been around almost 2 years now, and 2022, their 3rd year, might be their first actual full year of everything being normal.Comment
