Kurt Angle turned down a 7 match deal with AEW due to his physical limitations. IMPACT wanted him to do one match as well.

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has claimed that AEW and IMPACT Wrestling attempted to coax him out of retirement after he hung up his boots in 2019.

Interesting trademark filing coming from AEW.

      They trademarked "King of Harts".

This could mean anything, but any guesses? Could they be signing Bret Hart to some kind of trainer role and he occasionally appears on TV?

In wrestling, "King of Harts" only means Owen Hart. I know it's been 20 years, but there's no associating that nickname with anyone else.

But I dont think they'll trademark a nickname like that without any AEW association with the Hart family.

if true, i love wwe for being that dude.
Even if it is true, it's hilarious because deathmatch wrestling and especially Nick Gage has no place on mainstream television.

AEW Star Max Castle is under fire for his latest rap that aired on AEW Dark. Not only did he reference Simone Biles' mental health but also a sexual assault case involving members of the Duke Larcrosse team. This was taped prior to last week's AEW Dynamite in Charlotte and AEW STILL aired it.

“The Acclaimed kicking a** for miles
Make you claim mental health like Simone Biles

Matt Sydal is gonna pay the cost
I’m gonna treat those ____ like Duke Lacrosse”

That’s what happens when talent has more freedom. Sometimes they’ll stumble into something good, other times they look stupid when they try too hard.

No reason for either company to have people name-dropping Simone Biles. It’s just such a reach to make it fit into a wrestling context. And just as a general rule, it’s probably not a good idea to reference anything that makes people think about rape at all. I assumed that would go without saying, but here we are.

Tony Khan was disgusted to the point that he said he would personally be editing Dark and Elevation moving forward.

Whoever was editing it before definitely was in big trouble here.

Like mentioned, talent need to watch what they say. People can't go on about how they want freedom to say what they want, but once getting that freedom say stuff that reflects horribly on themselves and/or the company.

Casters raps have been great in the past, sadly AEW doesn't put them on Dynamite as much anymore even though they were more interesting team than most others.

She seems like she would be a great fit there. Give that division some more credibility.

Proof of Vaccination will be required for the WWE MSG show, I imagine this will be the case for the AEW show in New York too.

It’s a New York requirement not a WWE or AEW requirement.

I do anticipate mask mandates in the future as well for cities, so I would assume that both companies would require them in the future to prevent the touring to stop.
