Uh Ruby? Baker has been with AEW from the beginning and uh, her *husband* came to the company like 3 weeks ago.

Wow she's banging her husband. Wow. Super cool burn there. She slept with her husband to get to the top of AEW? HUH? Like, what the hell are you talking about?
I don’t think she even implied that Britt was sleeping her way to the top or anything, did she? She didn’t tie it in to anything else she said - the line literally had no purpose in the promo other than to get that quick pop.

That's usually why someone would say something like that, right?

I don't know. Just stupid on all fronts.

The Ruby line wasn't about saying Britt slept her way to the top or anything like that.

She just said that Britt is like all the other women she's faced. It's no secret that many women in wrestling do have boyfriends/husbands also in the industry. That's what she's comparing Britt too. Saying she's nothing special.

The one thing she did imply though is that Britt is a suck up to Tony Khan.

But....it had nothing to do with anything. It's a completely irrelevant statement in literally every way.

Lol that’s nice to give her the benefit of the doubt but that line was 100% meant to imply Britt had help getting to where she is because she’s got a superstar boyfriend.

Who are we mad at here? Ruby the character or the person? It's a wrestling promo. I am confused.

I'm mad because it got all this reaction but the line is dumb and doesn't make sense.

It's like talking about tortilla chips in a recipe video about making gnocchi.

And the fact that she gets so much adulation as if she's some amazing performer makes it even more annoying. Yes it's wrestling but what you say has to make sense.

The performer because it was a **** promo that didn’t make sense which would be fine if the ICW wasn’t jerking itself off over it for reasons

Man, they needed to build Powerhouse Hobbs as a bigger threat to Punk. The crowd wasn't too into the match and it never felt like he could truly win.

And Punk needs to cut out doing top - rope Hurricanranas from his matches. Somehow he managed to almost break his own neck and Hobbs too.

Orange Cassidy is a national treasure.

“It’s a hair vs hair match. If you lose, your head gets shaved.”

“Oh….well…I guess I’m not losing then.”

So apparently Rampage's ratings are falling every week. I know 10 PM isnt the best time slot for ANYTHING on friday night, but right now it's not looking good....

That was last week's. Friday's should be out today.

I watched it the first couple weeks after Smackdown. But it’s become more apparent that Rampage seems to be more Sunday Night Heat than Smackdown so it’s kinda dropped as a priority for me.

I have zero desire to watch wrestling on a Friday at 10 PM...well I rarely have a desire to watch wrestling at all so I'm always surprised every show gets the ratings that it does. But these ratings for Rampage aren't shocking at all.

Yeah, I'm normally just doing something else Friday Nights. Normally watch the replay on Sunday.

That's an oddly written article, but it does highlight the strangeness of AEW losing total viewers and gaining in the ratings. They were up in the ratings from the previous week, down in viewers, #1 for the night on cable. The 2nd hour (11pm) was what took down the average viewership.

But overall on a normal Friday they aren't going to get great viewership on cable at that time.
