Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread
This doesn't make sense at all. Your tag partner blindsides you, and your response is not revenge. It's to not show up. Gives off the cowardly vibe. Even if she is trying to trick Trish and blindside her back, just don't announce that you will be there or not be there.
There was also a report her contract is also up soon as well. Wonder if that has something to do with it. It's not like Becky to just simply write she isn't appearing on RAW, most of her tweets are storyline context.Comment

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread
Its cool having Trish being heel now.
All the "nostalgia acts" are always faces, but now we can see a full heel run. I wouldn't mind her winning the title at some point too.
I don't know how you do a 4 team wargames, but I'd be down for that.
Most likely though they'll combine the two sides so we get some mega 12 man tag match.Comment

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread
Excellent Raw. Maybe not match wise. Wish Rollins and Miz had something better. The chanting for Rollins is awesome but will likely get old quick. Storylines interwoven, layered and progressing. All I want. Wonder if there's some new match style that they're gonna debut to blow off this Bloodline v. Whoever feud.
Surprised by Trish's promo. She's actually mostly right. If she really wanted some super heat, she should have said something about how people only act like they care about "the four horseladies" or whatever she called them and women's wrestling as a whole now because they were shoved down everyone's throats due to the times and it was much harder to get people to care back then which is why she's so much better.Last edited by TheMatrix31; 04-18-2023, 04:38 AM.Comment

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread
About this week's RAW, well it was decent. Its all about stables. There's so many of them now. We see a potential Judgment Day vs Bloodline stable war. I guess this is the best option the creative team can think of while they wait for Reigns to hit 1000 days as Champion. Solo vs Misterio was a solid match to open the show too. They are clearly protecting Solo. Can I say that the 619 is one of the most stupidest moves in all of wrestling right now? You can see Misterio's opponents block Misterio's feet when he does the kick on the turnbuckles.
Belair/Kai was a solid match too. I see potential in Kai for sure. With Damage Control losing all the time though, its hard to take them seriously. Belair wins, with Bayley's faction losing steam and possibly breaking apart. I enjoyed the Cody/Lesnar segment. But we never got to hear why Lesnar attacked Cody. Fascinating outfit Brock had on. Rollins/Miz was a great match with the fans chanting "this is awesome." Too bad both wrestlers are directionless. Theory/Lashley match lead to a non finish with Bronson Reed interfering. Fine with me. Fire promo from Trish Stratus to remind us why she is a GOAT. Interesting to see what happens next in this feud. I felt bad for the women's tag team match due to how that division has been booked. Liv Morgan looked hot though. Main event tag team match was good. Nothing else to say since its going to be a stable war soon. I really wish both shows can have respective World Champions and Tag Team Champions again. Brand split has become a joke.Comment

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread
I missed most of the Cody promo and Miz vs Rollins (though I saw the end) because life.
I really enjoyed the first hour and most of the last hour. I'd have enjoyed the last hour more if the didn't insert Bronson Reed. I just can't find a way to even give a lick about the guy. I'm impressed that for how big he is, he can hit that tsunami finisher but that's it. Theory and Lashley was a good match and the ruin it with Reed. I realize they're trying to do a rivalry with Lashley and Reed but idk it just did nothing for me.
LWO, Judgement Day and Bloodline? Yes! I'm generally not a huge fan of trios and stables but they've done a good job with these. Heyman is still something else and that opening promo was awesome. Having them mega-brawl to close the show was great.
Can't submit this post without bringing up Trish lol. She killed it. As I said elsewhere, that's what I miss most about Attitude and Ruthless Aggression: the promo skills.
After a couple of off-weeks and whatever that post WrestleMania show was, Raw is back in a better place. One of the better episodes I've seen in a long time. Wasn't perfect but it was far from being bad and I was entertained.Comment

Something seems off with this Bloodline/Uso dissension stuff. They’re being so obvious with it that it feels like a swerve is coming up.Comment

Re: WWE RAW & Smackdown Thread
Seems fitting to have McIntyre win the title in the UK, here comes Solo.
Reigns is gonna kick Zayn out of the Bloodline...he makes him an Honorary uce.
Zayn needs to prove his loyalty at wargames or else, and it seems like the Bloodline is gonna turn on him...he proves himself and Zayn/Jey finally make up.
If Reigns loses to KO, Zayns done. Reigns wins, but Zayn turns on Reigns in the aftermath.
Jey isn't siding with the Bloodline after walking out on them and he chooses Sami...except he doesn't.
Cody's winning at WM for sure...and he doesn't.
Usos turning on the Bloodline (or Reigns cuts them out)...something else has to happen right?Comment

Hasn't that been the case all the time?

If that actually happens, I don't think he will win the title, but it could set him up for a huge face turn. I still think Cody is finally winning the titles at SS.Comment

Solo is gonna be the one to turn on Roman. Imagine the Samoan spike out of nowhere when Roman says something to finally set him off. Heyman almost set him off Monday. Let's see if they plant a seed for Roman souring on him on Friday.
