Can I ask how many of these numbers can be uploaded from your saved game? As far as I knew, only boxscores were able to be loaded. I'd be very interested in trying to do a franchise similar to this one but I wouldn't be able to dedicate more than 15-20 minutes of typing a day.Comment

Re: Cavalier Chronicle: Life After LeBron
As the season winds down and with Cleveland's playoff hopes being non-existent, the last two weeks of the season provide some players' last opportunities to prove themselves before the offseason. Some players, like J.J. Hickson, Terrence Williams, Ramon Sessions, and Alonzo Gee have likely cemented themselves into the Cavalier rotation, but most of the remaining players on the roster still wait in limbo.
Hickson and Williams will likely be key players for the 2012 Cavaliers
Opening the week in New York on Sunday, Gee and Sessions each turned in great performances but unfortunately Amare Stoudemire and the Knicks outlasted them for a 113-103 victory. Gee had his best shooting performance of the season, draining 10 of his 12 shot attempts while adding 3 steals to his stat line as well. Hickson also played fairly well but shot just 2-of-8 from the free throw line.
On Tuesday, the Cavaliers managed to sneak out a narrow victory in a close game against Charlotte. Hickson and Sessions led the way, with some help from Williams on the offensive end. Gerald Wallace had a great all-around game but his supporting cast wasn't able to help him pull out the victory. It marked the first time this season that the Cavaliers were able to defeat the Bobcats, snapping their four-game losing streak against them dating back to last season.
In Toronto, Cleveland had an ugly showing, including 27 turnovers, a wide-open missed dunk by Eddy Curry, and allowing both Andrea Bargnani and Leandro Barbosa to score 30 points. "It was just one of those games that you'd like to forget," said Joey Graham about their loss to the second-worst team in the NBA. Outside of Hickson and Sessions, the Cavaliers struggled offensively as nobody else reached double-digits in scoring.
Friday night saw the Cavaliers nearly pull off an upset against the division rival Chicago Bulls. After being down 12 at the half, Cleveland nearly came back to win it, ultimately losing when Anthony Parker missed an 18-foot jumpshot with 5 seconds to go that would have potentially sent the game into overtime. Sessions picked up a season-high 6 steals in the game and Hickson posted his third 20+ point performance of the week.
To close the week out, the Cavaliers headed to Milwaukee for what would be a 23-point loss to the Bucks. Brandon Jennings put up a double-double against Cleveland for the second time this season. Despite giving away 5 turnovers, Hickson had another productive night scoring 20 points and also blocking 2 shots. Graham would also have a solid game, thanks mostly to a perfect 10-10 from the charity stripe.
The Cavaliers have just two games remaining, heading to Detroit on Monday before finishing the season at home against Washington on Wednesday.

Re: Cavalier Chronicle: Life After LeBron
What was a treacherously long season for Cleveland fans finally came to an end on Wednesday. After securing a narrow victory over the Pistons on Monday, Cleveland lost the season finale by 21 points against the Wizards.
Williams dunks on McGee for 2 of his 13 points in the finale
Both teams struggled offensively in Monday's showdown, as they shot at a collective 33% clip. In the end, Cleveland managed to prevail thanks in large part to the 20-point performance of J.J. Hickson, as Detroit held all other Cavaliers to single digit scoring. Ben Gordon was able to score at will for most of the night but the Cavalier defense managed to contain him on the final Pistons possession, forcing a bad shot to earn the win.
Back at home on Wednesday, the Cavaliers simply were outplayed in all facets of the game in the shootout with Washington. The Wizards had four players score at least 20 points in the game. Hickson ended the season on a high note with a game-high 26, and Ramon Sessions contributed 19 of his own. The loss would mark the final game of Anthony Parker's 7-year career. "It was a very bittersweet moment out there tonight," Parker told reporters. "It would have been nice to go out on a higher note, or with a championship ring, but at the end of the day I'm happy to now have more time to spend with my family."
The Cavaliers finish the season a disappointing 26-56, the third-worst record in the NBA. Fans and front office personnel can now look forward to a draft in which they hold two lottery picks this offseason. Despite their shortcomings this season, Cleveland does have a decent young core group of players that they can potentially build around in the future.

PICK | PLAYER | NAME | AGE | POS | HT | WT | SCHOOL/COUNTRY | GRADE |
1 | ![]() | Quinn Redd | 20 | SF | 6-8 | 219 | Notre Dame | A+ |
Redd gives the Cavaliers their young star in the wake of LeBron's departure. Should start immediately but will have to compete with Terrence Williams and J.J. Hickson for touches.
5 | ![]() | Stuart Price | 20 | PF | 6-10 | 247 | Kansas | A |
The addition of Price provides an instant boost to Cleveland's depth in the middle. Will likely come off the bench most of the season but should see time at center. He's got a bright future in this league.
33 | ![]() | Dexter Rowland | 21 | PG | 6-1 | 217 | UNC-Charlotte | B |
The Cavaliers hope Rowland can develop into a dependable backup point guard down the road. Although his game isn't flashy, he has the necessary intangibles plus some added toughness that could make him an asset
54 | ![]() | Alfred Lowe | 22 | C | 6-11 | 250 | Oregon State | C+ |
The true value of this pick won't be seen until next year when they use the first rounder acquired from Indiana. Short-term, trading Anderson Varejao will be a serious blow to their ability to compete. |

2011 Cleveland Cavalier Free Agent Signings
PLAYER | NAME | ANALYSIS |
![]() | SF Matt Barnes 2 year, $3.41M | Barnes has hoped to re-sign with the Lakers, but Los Angeles opted to move in a different direction. The Cavaliers hope he will contribute well off the bench behind rookie Quinn Redd and replace the whole left by Alonzo Gee's departure. |
![]() | PG Andre Miller 1 year, $1.85M | A somewhat surprising signing for Cleveland. Perhaps the Cavaliers front office and Miller himself see him challenging incumbent Ramon Sessions for the starting job, or at the very least earning 6th man minutes. |
![]() | C Samuel Dalembert 1 year, $2.07M | Dalembert will likely be the starting center for the Cavaliers, splitting time with Brad Miller. The coaching staff is hoping that his defensive prowess will fill the hole left in the middle by the Varejao trade. |
![]() | PF Kenny Adams 1 year, $532K | The Cavaliers released 2nd round draft pick Alfred Lowe in order to make room on the roster to bring back Adams. A decent bench scorer with a smooth shot for a big man, Adams will likely see little time on the court but the team likes him as an extra weapon. |
