Coach Whitt's Take: We got punched in the mouth right from the start. The game was over six minutes in when we were down 19-3. You could tell it in my guys body language. They gave up. Amir stayed in foul trouble all night. Chris had his worst game of the season. The only kid who showed up to play tonight was Reggie, and he was playing on one freaking leg. We've got some kids who are resting their laurels because of last season's success. I'm not going to name names, because they know who they are and I don't throw my kids under the bus. But last season was last season. This is this season. And if you can't give me 110% every night...then [motions thumb to door].

Coach Whitt's Take: We needed that game. It was great to see us come out and execute like that on offense. Also, the crowd played a huge role in tonight's game. We have the best fans in the Big South Conference, and you could tell that the Aggies got a little rattled there in the second half when we broke the game wide open. Great performances all-around tonight.

Coach Whitt's Take: We're lucky to have won this game cause we didn't play fundamentally sound basketball. This has to be one of the worst free throw shooting teams I have ever coached. That 55% on the season is going to cost us one of these days. Could've been today, but we bailed ourselves out by hitting the offensive glass hard and forcing turnovers. Those extra possessions we got ourselves won us this game.

Coach's Take: This one is going to sting a bit. We blew an early ten point lead. We got down by 13 and closed it to three. But we just couldn't get over the hump. Chris put this team on his back tonight, but we needed somebody else to step up. Too much standing around. Too many shots taken out of the flow of the offense. We had no answer for thier physicality, as the 40 points in the paint would show.
