        Minnesota Wheels And Deals

Minnesota -- GM Tennell Williams announced that the team made two trades today. The first deal was Minnesota send mike Dunleavy to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for the Suns 2015 2nd round pick. Williams said the main reason behind this deal was to clear up some cap space. The T-Wolves are now off the hook for the 3M+ owed to Dunleavy.

The second deal was sending Danny Green to the Detoit Pistons for their 2016 2nd round pick. Green had become a problem in the locker room with his complaints about playing time. Minnesota wanted him to play the 6th man role, but Green demanded starter minutes.

Minnesota Gets Backs On Track With Convincing Win Over Miami

Recap | Box Score | Highlights

MVP: Andrew Wiggins. Wiggins put on another show for the home crowd finishing with 31 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assist in 37 minutes. From the opening quarter he and the Timberwolves put on a alley hoop fest with dunk after dunk after dunk. The former Jayhawk also did work from three making three of his four attempts.

LVP: Dwyane Wade. Mr. Union was nowhere to be found as the Heat needed all the help they could get with LeBran James out still recovering from his torn vagina, I mean MCL. Wade shot a horrendous 8-of-20 from the field and topped it off with horrible play on the defensive end.

X-Factor: Zach Lavine. Some thought Lavine would be slowly brought along, but the 6'5 point man and other things in mind. Lavine put up 9 points and 6 dimes in just 11 minutes of play off the pine. The rookie only had 1 turnover has he controlled Minnesota's fast paced offense. If he keeps this up Watson could be getting a couple of DNP's.

Stat Of The Night: 31. The Timberwolves largest lead of the night was a whopping 31 points while the Heat's largest lead was just 3 points.

Clippers Go Down Quietly To T-Wolves 113-96

Recap | Box Score | Highlights

MVP: Jeremy Tyler. You usually see Wiggins, Waiters, or Bennett here but backup big Jeremy Tyler was the man of the night in the win over the Clippers. Tyler finished with a season high 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks off the bench. Tyler was on fire as he finished the game shooting 9-of-11 from the field.

LVP: Jamal Crawford. One work for Crawford, ballhogry. Crawford took a team high 26 shot attempts while only making 9 of them. Blake grffin was the only Clipper with the hot hand but Crawford continued to ignore him to jack jumper after jumper after jumper.

X-Factor: Anthony bennett. The former number one pick held his own against another former number one pick in Griffin. Bennett finished with 21 points and 5 boards. After the game Bennett said his was disappointed in his rebounding efforts. I'm sure coach will let it slide this time.

Stat Of The Night: 112. That's the number of shot attempts the Clippers took and they couldn't capitalize on all the second chance attempts as they shot 38% from the field.
