WHEW, there's a lot of star power potentially on the move. Looking forward to seeing where everyone ends up -- like the trade for the Pistons, that's good stuff.

Thanks. I’m in late January now so will post phase 1 of trades tomorrow along with some other updates. Nurkics overall and stats are going in the wrong direction still will be a good bench piece for a team thats Always a thorn in the side come playoff time.

Can the 76ers Win 70 Games ?

The start of the season for the 76ers has been one that nobody could expect as they sit here with a unbelievable 40-4 record in mid January. This team is just loaded with all 5 starters capable of scoring 20 points a game. You have shooters with Jackson, Roco, Fultz, Bol. They are such a long team with Ben at PG and the two 7+ footers down low always controlling the boards. Coach Brown shines on the defense side of the ball and this is the most talented defense team in the league maybe in a few decades. Its still a little early to be talking about breaking any kind of wins record. Since the #1 seed close to wrapped up already its human nature to drop a few games in the middle of the year when you lose focus.

The goal has been set at 70 games and quietly that's the number the team wants to get to. This could be the last year of this exact team as Covington or maybe even Embiid could have to be moved to stay under the hard cap. If there was ever any doubt before its confirmed championship or bust this year.

Dag gum, you're guys are MURDERING the entire league. Insane levels of high-play right coming from you team ... I think they can get to 70, but I feel like they're going to lose interest somewhere along the way and probably finish closer to 65 wins. We'll see.

Yea my team is hotter then a dancing bobcat now lets hope I stay that way. I haven't changed anything from last year settings or play style wise I guess the CPU on sims finally felt sorry for me lol.

FYI I am getting ready to post 3 trades and I am just going to post them 1 at a time as I am using a old laptop filled with internet problems and virus. I just lost everything I typed as it didn't copy what I typed after it crashed.

Raptors 28-21 (6th in east)
Wizards 15-31 (14th in east)

The Raptors are suppose to be tanking and after getting the #3 seed last year and even winning a round they are back in the playoff race. They have a All Star PG Hagans who is scores 20+ a game and a bunch of similar rated role players around him. Love gives them a legit star and takes the scoring pressure off the other players. They have plenty of cap space to sign him to a multi year max deal this summer. This does leave them without a true backup SG. OG Anuboy the defense specialist will return soon from a injury.

The Wizards are 8 games out of the 8th seed before February even begins. Love is 34 and a possible half year rental so not many teams came calling for him. He is also making 40 million this year so a lot of teams wasn't willing to break up the core players to trade for him. Wiley and Oubre are still in their prime and should be solid bench players. Favors is in the final year of his contract, but is 3 years younger then Love and is rumored to only want 6 million a year next year. The first round pick has a really good chance to be this year and will help bring in some much needed youth.

Pelicans 11-32 (15th in west)
Lakers 24-21 (7th in west)

The Pelicans are one of the worst teams in the NBA and whiteside wanted to be traded to a playoff team. Kumza is 6 years younger and under contract for next year. He has yet to reach his A- potential in LA and he wasn't ever going to with all those star players. He has never played more then 24 minutes a game and should get 30+ now.

The Lakers needed a true C and Whiteside is the perfect option as he can defend and rebound and doesn't need the ball on offense. They have plenty of options at PF with Nance and the 22 year old Hurt with A potential. They still play a lot of small ball with Klay, Ingram, and George at the 2-4. This now leaves the Lakers heavy in backup PF/C so expect another small move closer to the deadline. They upgrade the weakest spot in the starting lineup and don't give up any draft picks.

Cavs 15-31 (14th in east)

The cruisers are trying to make the playoffs for the 1st time and things had been looking good until the current 6 game losing streak. Bazzey should make the all star team this year and is on pace to average 20 and 10. DJ is still a elite rebounder and defender and Garret is a former 4th overall pick. Porter has scored 16 PPG for the last 5 years and fixes the biggest hole in the starting lineup. The backup PG minutes that Baldwin was getting will now go to this years 1st round pick Fletcher. The fact that Porter is locked up for a few more years helps out as they should return the same starting 5 next year. This is a really good starting lineup its just a shame Okafar had to get hurt bc they still need some help down low. Since the 1st round pick they gave up is lottery protected you could argue its better longterm if they miss the playoffs.

We have talked about the Cavs before and just like the other trade the main goal here was to shed salary as both players they got are expiring contracts. They also get a 1st round pick which can be used if they need to trade up in the draft. They now easily have a spot for 2 max players. This also removes the log jam for minutes for the 2/3 spots for this years 2nd overall pick Anderson and Martinez who is having a breakout year scoring close to 20 a game.

Like all those trades. I think Love is a great fit with the Raptors and Kuzma is a good bet for the Pelicans -- the Porter trade could end up being a wash in the end, but Cleveland isn't going anywhere anyway so might as well tank hard and ask questions later.

The cavs finally have some young players that are producing so with a top 5 pick and a boat load of cap space they could be in for a huge year next season.

I am trying to find a spot for cousIns to be traded but I can’t seem to find a place. The outlaws are about the only team that have the salaries to get up to 35 million that could use a star player without blocking playing time for people.

I figured If the cpu is going to keep on putting the raptors in the playoff might as well make them good.

All signs are pointing to a rematch of me vs Golden State that's what I hope happens. I've got Bol hanging around the rebound race and Ben might get 2nd in assist but overall I don't have anyone avg any crazy stats.

I will post the all star rosters soon and prob wont have many updates after the all star break till the playoff previews.
