The wolves take a 3-1 lead in a close victory despite a off game from KAT. The 76er was expected to win the NBA title and now must win 3 straight games.

Everyone expected the 76ers to win this game as it was do or die for the season and that's what happened with a 10 point victory. Fultz had a monster game with 37 points, 8 assist and went 7 for 14 from 3. Collin Sexton also had a big game off the bench with 17 points.

The Timberwolves now have a 3-2 lead

Finals Game 6

The 76ers come back and force a game 7 on a narrow 3 point win. It was a balance effort scoring for the 76ers with 6 people scoring in double figures. Roco lead the way with 24 while Fultz has 21 points an 14 assist. This now sets up game 7 in the NBA finals with two young NBA teams.

This was it game 7 of the NBA finals years in the making of tanking and building up all came down to this moment. We would like to tell you a great in depth story with a exciting game, but the 76ers didn't bother to show up and was blown out. They ended up scoring only 69 points and and shot just 29% from the field. Its going to be a painful offseason and this young Timberwovles team doesn't appear like its going anywhere. Zion Williamson the 2nd year player takes home MVP.

What was the reasoning behind Bol playing 43 minutes and Embiid only playing 18 in Game 7? I see that Embiid fouled out, but how bad was it getting?

Embiid fouled out like the first minute of the 3rd quarter and the last one I know I was even user controlling him. I ended up getting mad and simming the rest of the game somewhere late 3rd quarter so the CPU must have not took Bol out any after that. That's one of my biggest grips about the game since I typically start playing in the 4th quarter of games. I will have guys playing that have energy in the 50's and then some starters that are close to full stamina on the bench and also guys playing out of position. I have all my main guys minutes set to mid 30's. I couldn't hit a shot for nothing I was well below 20 points in the quarters I played.

76ers New Additions

The 76ers had hoped to sign a big name free agent and then use bird rights to retain Fultz and Covington. The numbers ended up not working so they return the same starting lineup as before mixed in with some new guys on the bench.

Milsap was signed via the mid level exception so his 9 million $ salary could be used as trade bait down the line if need to. He is 36 and can still score and play solid defense. Tyreke Evans at 32 was signed for the minimum and should see a handful of minutes a game as the backup to Ben Simmons. He isn't much of a defense player anymore but can still hold his own for 10 minutes or a game. He will take the place of Justin Anderson who was traded to the Knicks this offseason. T.J McConnell and TLC also resigned for multi year deals.

We talked in depth about Luka Samanic not long ago and he has been tearing it up overseas and will be a huge addition to the bench. He can do it all and the sky is the limit for him. He is a 6'10 and 208 so he could also play some SF if the 76ers want to go big and move Ben to the 1.

Major 76ers Injury

Star rookie Luka Samanic who has been playing overseas for the last 2 years was expected to be the missing piece the teams needs off the bench. He played only 7 games and will now miss the next 6 to 8 weeks after a high ankle sprain. Paul Milsap will take his spot in the rotation. The 76ers are off to a slow start and this will only weaken the bench.

76ers Struggling

The 76ers have played 29 of 82 games and are off to their slowest start since the 2017 / 2018 season when they wasn't expected to be real contenders. They are still plenty of games to be played and time and everyone expected them to jump back up to at least a top 4 seed. It might be time to shake things up and make a trade. We will have more on some potential trade targets soon.

update

I am still enjoying this and definitely will not quit until I win a championship or two. I have been a little lazy with updates lately mostly just doing pics. I am going on a cruise so I'll be really busy leading up to it leaving next Friday. So I wont have any updates or 10 days so starting next friday. I suspect that I will come back and have more attention to go toward this as my free time at work I have been doing research for my trip over posting here.

I'm currently at the trade deadline so my goal is to get at least to the playoffs before I go away.

ok so I'm back to playing this after a few weeks break. I am still trying to decide exactly how I want to finish out playing and posting this. I am leaning toward not handling all the FA stuff and roster moves as that's getting not fun anymore. I may just let the CPU handle them and just oversee it if something major happens.

I think I will just post some brief in season updates and do more in depth coverage come playoff time when I go after my 1st title.
