SEVERAL SCHOOLS HAVE THEIR EYE ON BOISE'S RYAN SCOTT[/CENTER

With a resume of (124-39) record, and what should be 4 straight NCAA appearances as well as a Elite 8 Showing last year and potentially something as good or better this year, Coach Ryan Scott is quickly becoming the young head coach other schools covet.

The season hasn't even ended and reports are several schools from Power Conferences as well as pretty much every school from Major's to Mid-Majors are lining up for a chance to convince Coach Scott to bring his talent and success to their schools.

Northwestern just finished the year (9-20) and just (2-16) in the Big Ten and have never been to the NCAA tournament. They hired Nathan Davis away from Bucknell 2 years ago, but Davis is already on the hot seat.

Ole Miss is looking to move on from Andy Kennedy. Kennedy had found some success at Ole Miss winning over 100 games but the Rebels finished just (13-14) this season and just 7-9 in the SEC and it appears that the school is ready to move on, as they look to find someone who can lead them back to the Big Dance.. The last time Ole Miss went was 2002 and as a school they have only been 6 times.

Reports are BSU is planning on giving Coach Scott a 3 year extension making him the highest paid coach in the WAC and a salary on par with other elite Mid-Major coaches like Mark Few. Rumors are the contract will have 1 year opt out clauses that would see the school receive significant money should he leave

      BRONCOS FALL IN CHIP!!

Boise State knocked off Nevada to close out the season putting the Wolfpack's chances at a NCAA bid squarely on winning the WAC auto bid, and the Wolfpack did just that getting their revenge. The WAC will now send 4 teams to the NCAA tournament, something that has never been done in the history of the conference. (more about that later).

BSU opened up the WAC tournament with a (79-63) victory over San Jose State and cruised to a (97-68) win over Fresno State in the Semi Finals, as SR D. Andres embraces his 6th man role scoring 22 pts against the Spartans before dropping 18 pts and 14 rebounds over the Bulldogs. SR R. Cowans (23 pts 4/9 3pt) and JR D. Nagata (19 pts 4/5 3pt) also had huge games as they combined for 42 points and hit 8/14 from deep.

BSU would lead at the half (40-39) against the Wolfpack but JR PG D. Prait would come up huge down the stretch hitting 4/4 from deep to finished the game a perfect 6/6 scoring 22 pts well C. Wilson added 13 pts 11 rebounds and 5 blocks to carry Nevada to the (77-67) victory.

      R. Len Bullicer scored 16 pts well D. Andres added a double double with 14 pts and 10 rebounds in the loss.

The win gives Nevada a 3rd Automatic bid in the past 5 years with BSU having won both the regular season and tournament championships the past 2 years.

        SELECTION SUNDAY!!!

Selection Sunday is here and it's time to see what 64 teams are playing for a chance to win a National Title and who is left out and already looking to next year.

The biggest story of this year's selections has to be out West. In a typical year you might see 2 teams from the WCC make it with schools like Saint Mary's, San Diego, San Francisco and Pepperdine joining mainstay Gonzaga, and most years you will see 2 or sometimes 3 teams from the Mountain West receive bids via the Bubble and it's a pretty common sight to see 5 or 6 teams from the Pac-10 make the Dance with UCLA, Oregon, Arizona frequent dancers. But this year the biggest story is that of the "WAC". The Western Athletic Conference has made history yet again. Last year BSU made history becoming the conferences first ever #2 seed. This year they do it again losing in the WAC Championship giving Nevada the automatic bid, and giving the conference 4 teams as Idaho and Utah State both join BSU and Nevada at the Dance.

Well the WAC is a amazing story, the WCC is a disappointing one. Gonzaga has been to the tournament 25 times and has made 2 Final 4's and 2 Championship games. However after a 6-9 record in the WCC and a (16-15) record overall the Zags are not even headed to the NIT. Regular season champ San Francisco went 10-4 and (18-13) overall but even they too are staying home. This year's winner of the WCC Tournament and auto bid was non other then last place Santa Clara who went 4-10 in WCC play and (16-17) Overall.

Let's go take a look at the 4 Regionals.

        EAST

        #1 Duke vs #16 Siena
#8 Georgia Tech vs #9 Xaiver
        #5 BSU vs #12 TXAM-CC
#4 Memphis vs #13 Weber State
        #6 W. Virginia vs #11 Arizona State
#3 UNC vs #14 Long Beach State
#7 Oklahoma vs #10 Boston College
        #2 Georgetown vs #15 Boston U

"The Biggest story here has to be Boise State getting a #5 seed after losing the WAC tournament and now having a potential Sweet 16 matchup with #1 Duke. The Blue Devils finished the nation as the #1 team after beating UNC in the ACC Championship. A potential rematch of Duke vs UNC in the Elite 8 has to be what the committee was going for here. #2 Georgetown is 5-5 in their past 10 game and I think UNC ends up getting that win should they meet up"

        WEST

#1 Louisville vs #16 Murray State
        # 8 Arkansas vs #9 Wisconsin
#5 South Florida vs #12 Oklahoma State
#4 Oregon vs #13 Santa Clara
#6 Baylor vs #11 Utah State
        #3 Tennessee vs #14 UW-Green Bay
#7 Clemson vs #10 Western Kentucky
        #2 Texas A&M vs #15 UNC Asheville

"The Cardinals finished 2nd in the Big East to Syracuse and #4 in the Poll's as they secure the #1 seed out West, but don't sleep on #9 Wisconsin who was the Big Ten regular season champ, but just lost early in the tournament to Ohio State giving them the #9 seed. I could see a upset here"

        SOUTH

        #1 Syracuse vs #16 Belmont
#8 UNLV vs #9 Michigan State
#5 BYU vs #12 North Texas
#4 Rhode Island vs #13 Georgia State
        #6 Minnesota vs #11 Auburn
        #3 Houston vs #14 Wagner
#7 Notre Dame vs #10 Idaho
        #2 Arizona vs #15 Cornell

"Another #1 Big East school with a potential matchup with a #9 Big Ten school. Could we see 2 massive upsets, or could we see BYU and UNLV maybe meet in a Sweet 16 after both schools battled each other for the MWC title"

        MIDWEST

        #1 Alabama vs #16 Furman
#8 Florida State vs #9 Nevada
        #5 LSU vs #12 Bucknell
#4 George Washington vs #13 Southern Utah
#6 Wichita State vs #11 Kentucky
        #3 Marquette vs #14 Buffalo
        #7 Villanova vs #10 Vanderbilt
#2 UCLA vs #15 Alabama State

"Seeing Alabama as a #1 seed in a basketball tournament is just crazy. To seem them potentially playing LSU in the Sweet 16 is something you would think would happen on a football field. Wichita State went 17-1 in the Missouri Valley and 26-5 Overall. I think this is their year to make another Final 4 run, but they will need to get past a always dangerous Kentucky squad that went just 9-7 in SEC play and 18-14 Overall."

          BRONCOS SURVIVE UPSET!!

Texas A&M-CC came into the game with a 22-11 record and was the regular season and tournament champion of the Southland. Their roster includes 7 Freshman including 3 starters led by SF F. Butch (77 Overall) and and SR C. J. Wells who averaged 22.0 PPG and is most likely the Southland POY winner.

The Islanders played the Broncos tough in the 1st half but a pair of buckets with less then a minute to play gave Boise State the (46-44) lead going into the locker room.

Wells led all scorers with 12 points in the 1st half.

In the 2nd half BSU got some unexpected production from Freshman J. Moore who finally flashed the talent that made him a 5* All-American and the #12 rated recruit in last years class. Moore would score 15 of his 17 points and leading the Broncos to a (85-79) victory...

Moore finished the night 3/5 from beyond the arc well the rest of the Broncos were 5/14.

          D. Andres was the only other player in double digits as he finishes with 10 pts 8 rebounds and 3 steals.

BSU was called for 24 fouls in the game with Cowans, Rasmussen, Len Bullicer all finishing with 4 and Toumou and Andres with 3.

Wells finished with 29 pts and had 10 rebounds with 2 steals and 3 blocks in the loss.

BSU WILL ADVANCE TO TAKE ON #4 MEMPHIS.

            UPSET CITY

It was a pretty quite opening round in the East Regional as #11 Arizona State beat #6 West Virginia (Sorry SuperJames), until #15 Boston U shocked the nation by beating #2 Georgetown (77-72)

In the West Regional all lower seeds advanced. #11 Utah State was the closest as they fell (82-74) to #6 Baylor. #3 Tennessee showed why they are the #1 scoring team in the nation for a 2nd straight year as the Vols score 105 in their win over UW-GreenBay. 3 players hit 20+ points in the game.

In the South Regional, #1 Syracuse also hit the century mark with a 101-50 win over Belmont. and #12 North Texas came close as the upset #5 BYU (98-97) as UNT went 13/21 from deep and BYU finished 11/25

Idaho fell in their first ever NCAA game losing to #7 Notre Dame (85-66)

            In the Midwest Regional
#9 Nevada joined BSU was winners from the WAC with a (86-73) win over #8 Florida State. The Wolfpack will have to face #1 Alabama next.

#7 Villanova hit the century mark over #10 Vanderbilt (107-56). SR PF A. Brazzle scored a career high 33 pts

              HOW SWEET IT SOUNDS!!

For the 3rd straight year the Broncos are advancing to the Sweet 16 as #5 Boise State defeats #4 Memphis (95-78)

The Tigers came into the game with a (25-7) record after beating Weber State in Round 1, but before the tournament had lost 3 of their last 5 games.

7'0 SR Jazz Schille a "lottery pick" in this year draft was well on his way to a 3rd straight CUSA POY award coming into the game averaging 23.5 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 1.2 APG, 1.1 SPG and 1.1 BPG, and Coach Scott knew it would take shutting Schille down to win the game.

              Coach Scott
"It was our goal to attack Schille right away and hopes of him picking up some early fouls, but when that didn't happen we changed up our game plan a little and decided to see if we could just use our depth and try and run them and it worked"
BSU took a (46-39) lead into the half as JR SG D. Nagata finished with a team high 12 pts hitting 3/5 from deep.

Nagata would struggle in the 2nd half scoring 8 points but was 0/4 from deep, but that's when Freshman Jeremy Moore stepped up with another big game scoring 12 pts hitting 2/2 from deep to go with 5 assists and 4 steals on "D".

Moore wasn't the only bench player to have a big game for the Broncos. Soph's I. Dillard added 14 pts and Victor Robinson playing some extended minutes put up 11 pts and 7 rebounds.

Schille would finish with 17 pts in the loss.

BOISE STATE WILL NOW TAKE ON #1 DUKE IN THE SWEET 16

                DOWN GOES FRAZIER!!!

Well #1 Duke cruised in their 2nd Round with a (84-61) win over Xavier the same can not be said of the other #1's in the tournament.

#1 Louisville fell to #9 Wisconsin out West (84-83), well fellow #1 Syracuse fell (94-71) to #9 Michigan State to give the Big Ten 2 upset wins over the Big East.

#1 Alabama survived a upset bid by #9 Nevada beating the Wolfpack (84-70) making BSU the only team from the WAC to advance to the Sweet-16.

#1's were not the only lower seeded teams receiving knockout blows.

#7 Clemson beat #2 Texas A&M (71-66) to advance, well #5 South Florida beat #4 Oregon (82-71) for the chance to take on #9 Wisconsin.

Every year there is always a Cinderella story and this year there is two.

#15 Boston U defeated #7 Oklahoma (66-59) and will advance to the Sweet 16 to take on #3 UNC and #12 North Texas defeated #4 Rhode Island (78-65) to move on to take #9 Michigan State.

                  BRONCOS MAKE HISTORY

Coach Scott has added to his resume once again. Boise State under Scott's helm has a victory over a #1 seed beat Michigan State 2 years ago to make the Sweet 16, but the Broncos and Scott have never beaten the #1 Overall team in the nation. But tonight they did as Boise State secures another trip to the Elite 8 with a victory over #1 Duke.

It was a back and forth affair all nigh with neither team ever leading by more then 4 points, with Boise State taking a (39-37) lead into the locker room. Both teams would heat up in the 2nd half from beyond the arc with Duke finishing the night 9/22 from 3pt well Boise State would hit 10/19 with the most important one coming with 13 seconds to play. Up (85-84), Boise State inbounded the ball to JR SG D. Nagata, and the Blue Devils press would try to foul, but Nagata escaped the trap and found himself wide open for a pullup 3. Already with 12 points and 2/3 from beyond the arc, Nagata put the dagger in Duke's heart as he gives BSU the (88-84) lead and victory.

Nagata's 15 points would lead the Broncos but BSU got double digits from 5 other players and another solid night from Freshman J. Moore.

                  V. Rasmussen-10 pts 9 reb 4 blks
                  R. Len Bullicer-14 pts 2 reb 3 steals
                  C. Toumou-11 pts 3 reb 3 blks
                  I. Dillagard-14 pts 6 rebs 3/6 3pt
                  V. Robinson-11 pts 5/6 FT
                  Moore-8 pts 5 reb 5 assists 2 steals 2/2 3pt

For Duke it was Senior PG F. Meredith leading all scorers with 22 pts hitting 4/9 from 3pt. Meredith a former #1 Overall recruit from DC is expected to be a top pick in this year's NBA draft.

SR PF Jacob Allen also a future lottery selection finished with 18 pts.

WITH THE WIN, BSU SPOILS THE DUKE VS UNC REMATCH AS BOISE STATE WILL NOW TAKE ON #3 UNC

                    THE FINAL 8

With BSU and UNC (Beat Boston U 110-75) setting the stage in the East. Here is a look at the other 3 Regional Elite 8 matchup's.

#5 South Florida cruises to a (84-64) win over Wisconsin well #3 Tennessee outlasts #7 Clemson (88-83) to set up the showdown out West.

#9 Michigan State ended #12 N. Texas Cinderella run (107-49) and it's going to be a Big Ten showdown as they take on #6 Minnesota who beat #2 Arizona (80-77) in the South Regional.

#1 Alabama beat #5 LSU in a SEC Showdown, (75-71) and is the last remaining #1 seed. The Tide will look to keep things rolling vs #2 UCLA who beat #3 Marquette (79-53).

Could we see a rematch of BSU vs UCLA for a National Championship? These 2 teams have built quite the rivalry since Coach Scott got to Boise.

Thanks. It's crazy I have played alot of legacies on this game in the past 15 years and I have never seen a season where the WAC got more even 2 teams and most years it was only when the regular season champ was like Utah State or Nevada with a really good record and they get upset in the championship.

Tomorrow is my day off, so I plan on finishing out the season and getting up next year's season preview and depending on weather, it could be a full day inside playing games.

                          A TALE OF 2 HALVES!!!

For Boise State fan's it looked like the Broncos had finally took that next step toward to National Title and playing in their first ever Final 4 as they took a (59-43) lead into the locker room over UNC. Freshman C. Toumou played a great first half with a team high 12 pts well grabbing 4 boards and blocking 2 shots. SR PG R. Cowans added 9 pts hitting 3/3 from 3pt well the Broncos as a team connected on 5/8 from beyond the arc.

But in the 2nd half UNC battled back as they hit 7/10 from deep after going just 3/16 in the 1st half. Not only was the 16 point lead gone but now it was Boise State trailing by double digits with less then 3 minutes to play. BSU would never recover as UNC playing 11 players deep cruise to a (94-83) win.

Toumou finished with a team high 18 pts in the defeat well Cowans added 17 pts and 4 assists. R. Len Bullicer added 13 pts and 8 rebs to go with 3 blocks in his final game as a Broncos.

For UNC they were led by a trio of Junior starters- M. Bright-15 pts, D. Gomez-10 pts 2/5 3pt, E. Stapley-14 pts 5 steals 2/2 3pt as well as JR K. Diawara off the bench with 12 pts 2/3 3pt. Only Stapley is expected to be drafted with 4 of the Tar Heels starters expected to return next year.

                            HOW IT FINISHED!!

#3 Tennessee beat #5 South Florida (92-56) to earn a trip to the Final 4 to face UNC.

#9 Michigan State beat #6 Minnesota (94-76) to win the South.

#2 UCLA beat #1 Alabama (89-84) to win the Midwest making it to where no #1 made the Final 4.

#3 UNC won the battle of #3 seeds beat Tennesee (92-82). The Tarheels were only 7/23 from 3pt but all 5 starters hit double digits.

#2 UCLA beat #9 Michigan State (109-70). The Bruins were 11/24 from deep led by SG O. Hooper off the bench with 21 pts hitting 4/7 from 3pt.

UCLA is your National Champion with a (104-93) win over UNC making it 2 games in a row with a 100 points or more.

Hooper had 22 points hitting 3/5, well starting SG K. Newman scored 22 pts, and JR C. Reese added 24 pts in the win.

                              SEASON RECAP

                              SAYING GOODBYE

Coach Scott says goodbye to 4 Seniors

6'11 Center Randall Len Bullicer started 131/134 games for the Broncos over his career averaging 11.9 PPG, 5.3 RPG 1.1 SPG and 1.5 BPG.

6'0 PG Ralph Cowans started 124/128 games and had his best season this year averaging 10.3 PPG to go with 4.7 APG well shooting 37% from 3pt.

6'6 Foward Dannorris Andres started 119/129 games averaging 8.0 PPG, 5.5 RPG over his career.

6'7 Guard Joseph Toole was a reserve starting 11/134 games played, and finished on a disappointing note playing the least amount of minutes this season averaging just 2.9 PPG after averaging 7.4 PPG as a Freshman.

                              NATIONA AWARD AND CONFERENCE AWARDS

Cory Toumou won he NCAA FOY Award as well as the WAC FOY after averaging 13.3 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 1.5 SPG and 1.2 BPG this season.

He was also named to the NCAA All-Freshman team as well as the WAC All-Freshman team

Coach Scott was named the WAC Coach of the Year for the 3rd straight year. Scott finished 3rd in the National COY with the UCLA Coach taking it down.

Soph Vernon Rasmussen was named to the 2nd Team All-WAC after averaging 10.8 PPG, 5.2 RPG with 1.4 BPG.

BRONCOS ADD 4 PLAYERS EARN TOP-10 RANKING!!

Coach Scott replaced his outgoing 4 Seniors with 4 players who actually made the school strong despite losing 4 starters from back to back seasons making the Elite 8.

The 4 man class ranked #10 in the Nation as Coach Scott landed 3-4* Recruits including a International player for the first time since arriving at Boise.. Here is a look

4* 6'6 SG Lebron Siebrant was the Mr BB from Plymouth Minnesota. Ranked #88 Overall and the #26 SG in the class.

4* 6'5 SF Dyron Bennett was the Mr BB from Missoula Montana. Ranked the #89 Overall and the #16 SF in this year class.

4* 5'10 PG Boris Surov is from Finland and is the Broncos first International player.

3* 6'11 C Harold Hampton is from Torrance California and was ranked #153 Overall and the #5 C in this year's class.

                              Coach Scott
"Honestly I am surprised at how well this class came together. Bennett and Hampton were guy's we targeted early and wanted from Day 1. Siebrandt was a late addition midway through the season when I could tell that some of our other targets had moved us down on their lists and Lebron didn't have any scholarship offers. Surov was actually a last minute addition. Originally I was just going to keep the scholarship for next year. We had targeted a couple PG's but R. Okpwae went to Oklahoma and Claude Onyekwe (4* #53 Overall/#22 PG) who we had #1 on our target board all year jumped at a late scholarship to UCLA. But I think adding Surov will be a bonus for us moving forward as we can now start to look at the International guy's to fill some need spots on our depth chart"
**To be honest I feel it's to easy to target the World guys' and make your roster better way to soon. However after back to back Elite 8 seasons, I feel it was time to get Coach Scott that attribute point. I added 4 points to Scott his year with the beating of a #1 Overall team, having a NCAA Award winner as well something else. Coach Scott is now a B+ Overall with a A- in Offense, a B- in D, a B- in Teaching, A- in both Scouting and Charisma and a C+ in Disc**

                                SEASON PREVIEW

                                THE ROSTER

Coach Scott will have 12 players on the roster this season but after the Blue and Orange Spring game only 10 of those players will be active this season here is a look.

                                PG-(SR) 6'5 Dominic Nagata (79 Overall/85 3PT)
"The lone Senior on the squad and Coach Scott's first BSU recruit. Nagata has been a 3 year starter at SG but moves over the the PG with the graduation of R. Cowans. Nagata averaged a career high 10.3 PPG, with 3.8 APG and 1.1 SPG well shooting a career best 48% (52/110) from 3pt."

                                SG-(SO) 6'6 Jeremy Moore (81 Overall/76 3PT)
The former 5* Recruit joins the starting lineup, after a somewhat disappointing season last year that saw him average just 5.8 PPG, 2.7 RPG, 2.7 APG, 1.2 SPG well shooting 36% from 3pt (24/67).

                                SF-(JR) 6'9 Isiah Dilligard (79 Overall/79 3PT)
A former 4* Recruitt rated #84 Overall, Dillgard has averaged 8.1 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 1.2 APG, and 1.2 SPG well hitting 41% from 3pt (80/194) the past 2 seasons. He takes over the starting SF.

                                PF-(JR) 6'8 Veron Rasmussen (80 Overall/74 3PT)
"Rasmussen shined in his first season as a starting going from 6.2 PPG to 10.8 PPG and 4.7 RPG to 5.2 RPG well also continuing to average 1.4 BPG. The former 4* Rated #69 Overall was the WAC FOY his Freshman year and made the 2nd Team All-WAC last year."

C-( RS SO) 6'10 Cory Toumou (76 Overall)
"The National and WAC FOY, former Mr BB Idaho was a star his first season and should be the leading scorer for the team moving forward after leading the team last season at 13.3 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 1.5 SPG and 1.2 BPG"

                                PG- (RS FR) 5'10 Wade Blancett (76 Overall/86 3PT)
The former 4* (#52 Overall) redshirted last season and is the future starter once Nagata graduates. However if Moore struggles, look for Blancett to move to the PG this year with Nagata moving back to SG"

                                SG- (RS SO) 6'5 Robert Pekkola (76 Overall/81 3PT)
The former 3* Walkon, played as a true freshman averaging 6.7 PPG well hitting 44% from 3pt. He redshirted last season in order to preserve more PT moving forward. He also has a shot at some major minutes if Moore or Blancett don't cut it"

                                SF- (FR) 6'5 Dyron Bennett (73 Overall/80 3PT)
"Bennett made the 10 man rotation and will backup Dilligard. At 6'5 he is a little small for a forward but he can shoot well from 3pt and gives Coach Scott some options"

                                PF- (RS JR) 6'9 Vytas Robinson (71 Overall/70 3PT)
Robinson a Coach Scott's stretch bigman. He doesn't play alot of minutes but manages to score points when he does. He has averaged 4.4 PPG to go with 2.9 RPG and is a career 35% shooter from deep

                                C- (FR)- 6'11 Harold Hampton (75 Overall)
Hampton has the potential to follow in Rasmussen and Toumou's footsteps as the next WAC FOY from Boise State if he gets enough minutes. His Offensive Awareness (73) is actually better then Toumou's (69).

                                **Redshirt**

                                PG (FR) 5'10 Boris Surov (72 Overall/72 3PT)
Survov will redshirt this year but actually has the best passing rating (85) on the entire team minus Nagata (86). Will most likely be a key reserve next year with Blancett or Pekkola moving to the starting spot unless someone from this year's class pushes him out of a role

                                SG- (FR) 6'6 Lebron Siebrandt (75 Overall/72 3PT)
In past year's he probably would've made the active 10 man rotation but Bennett beats him out of the spot with a better 3pt rating. Hoping he might grow a inch or 2 and maybe push for the stretch big spot replacing Robinson's minutes

                                THE SCHEDULE

Boise State and Coach Scott will once again focus on beating teams out West and continue some budding rivalries from past seasons.

BSU kicks off the year with 4 home games starting on 11/11 with Idaho State, then 11/13 vs #22 BYU and then games vs San Francisco (11/17) and San Diego State (11/24).

The Broncos will then start a 4 game road trip @ #5 UCLA (11/26), @ Oregon State (12/1) @ Washington State (12/8) and @ Gonzaga (12/12) before returning home for 2 more home games vs Wyoming (12/16 and vs #13 Oregon (12/19).

BSU will then close out non-conference play @ Arizona State (12/27) and #23 Arizona (12/29) before kicking off WAC play on 1/5 vs La Tech.

Coach Scott "We are excited to put 4 games on the schedule vs Pre-Season Top-25 programs and to continue our budding rivalry with Gonzaga and UCLA. The Bruins are the Defending National Champions and our players and our fans look forward to this game ever year"

                                RECRUITING

Despite only 1 Senior on the roster and signing 4 players in last years class, Coach Scott will go into the recruiting season with 3 scholarship players. With 2 current players redshirting that have the potential to replace Nagata in the 10 man rotation, the big question is what is Coach Scott looking for this season. Probably a future replacement at SF and PF for Dilligard and Rasmussen or does he hold the scholarships for future seasons?

                                COACH SCOTT'S FUTURE

After back to back Elite 8 appearances, Coach Scott was offered HC jobs at Ole Miss, Nebraska, Penn State, as well as several other Mid-Major programs.

We sat down and asked Coach Scott if there was any chance he would ever leave his Alma Mater and Boise State.

                                Coach Scott
"To be honest, getting compared to Mark Few and Gonzaga is a dream of mine. To stay here and build a program that challenges for a chance to be the little guy who knocks off the big power program is a challenge in itself. Recruiting guy's to Boise isn't easy and sometimes even the local kids now look at the roster and want a chance for more PT. However I won't say I will never leave. There are several Pac-10 schools I would consider and to be honest coaching in a conference like the ACC or Big East I think is a dream of any coach who dreams of coaching NCAA basketball."
