Tovarich: Another game where it seemed pre-destined that we'd lose by 1 point. 0% on shots that would give us the lead or tie it. Zero Percent. Thought we had an easy layup, but the blocking foul was mysteriously not a shooting foul hahahahahahahahaha. It was the most laughable, homerific call I've ever seen. Then we miss the layup after the throw in. Why? Because we'd have taken the lead. That wasn't allowed. Tyson had all 4 of his 3 attempts blocked hahahahahaha. We haven't had four 3's block this YEAR. It's like it was automatic that if he attempted a shot, someone would fly in and block it. That's one I've never seen in my 38 years here at Eastern Shore.
Reporter: What was the plan on the last possession?
Tovarich: It made no difference. We weren't going to make it anyway. Every miss was predictable. Their offensive rebounds in the missed shots were predictable. The made shots after we tipped a pass and they got it back were predictable. Our missed layups were predictable. There was nothing we could do.
Reporter: Does the team just need some pep talks?
Tovarich: I was trying to save those for the very end and the conference tournament. And I'm using some trying to see if I can keep Krleski on the team for next year. I'm pretty over this year all of a sudden. We've been cursed by someone.
Reporter: You're still better than last year.
Tovarich: That's not saying much. We were the worst team in the nation on paper and now we're allegedly the best team in the conference, and in 4th place.
Reporter: Is the youth of this team the main reason for the inconsistency?
Tovarich: Yep. It's not enough that young players are generally rated lower than most of the older ones. We lack togetherness and unity and I don't expect it to be a whole lot better next year, so maybe in 4 years we'll be allowed to play like we're supposed to.
