                          Recap

This game turned out to be much closer than anyone could have predicted. Notre Dame was able to hang on to a win over Eastern Michigan despite lacking intensity on defense. Eastern Michigan shot 51% from the field and make 10 3-pointers. Eastern's Carlos Medlock had 33 points on 13/20 shooting, going 6/11 from downtown.

Notre Dame also shot the ball exceptionally well at 55% for the game. Luke Harangody took advantage of the lack of post-defense, going off for 29 points on 13/16 shooting. Kyle McAlarney added 20 points, including 4 3-pointers, while Rob Kurz and Zach Hillesland each scored 8 points.

The Irish will need to pick up the defense as they travel to face freshman phenom Michael Beasley and Kansas State on December 4th.
