Pretty crazy and it sucks for them. it's like the Big East became a mid-major or something...

Devine got 2nd team all-american too... Just thought i'd let you know haha
    Yeah, I'm following along!

good luck in ur next season though... kerns is gonna have a big year i'm feeling!
There seems to be too many undefeated teams in the game. In real life, it's a rarity that more than one team goes undefeated (of BCS schools at least), but oftentimes in the game, three, four, or more go undefeated.

Basically, it seems like no matter what I do (scheduling two preseason top ten teams in non-conference last year), I'm going to be last in the pecking order of BCS teams for the National Title and ahead of the mid-majors. I think I'm not going to try to schedule as hard and just go off of WVU's real future schedule in that case.

I'm really excited about Kerns. He's big, brutal, can break tackles, and is deceptively fast.

Thanks. The defense looks to be shaky, but in real life WVU's defense was shaky and young and looked bad early on before becoming what was probably the best defensive unit in the Big East. I hope that happens in this game, too!

    Thanks for the input, guys!

        Aerial Attack!!!
Passing game propels Mountaineers to huge blowout win at Marshall

Huntington, WV (AP) - Offensive coordinator Jeff Mullen said this offseason that the passing game would be utilized more this year than in the past. He backed up that claim today as the seventh-ranked Mountaineers (0-0, 0-0 Big East) racked up 325 passing yards over a helpless Marshall (0-0, 0-0 C-USA) defense in a 59-7 rout in Huntington.

Starting quarterback Coley White passed for 267 yards and four touchdowns in this one while completing 16 of 18 passes.

"We pretty much did all we wanted to do and more on offense," said offensive coordinator Jeff Mullen. "Marshall may not be the type of team you want to gauge your performance against, but all indications are that we executed out gameplan extremely well."

The defense, which is expected to be weaker this season, showed up in a huge way, too, holding the Marshall offense scoreless. The lone Marshall touchdown came off a pick-six thrown by backup quarterback Ronnie Bullock inside the five yard line late in the third quarter. However, the Mountaineers pick-sixed two passes of their own t offset this.

The games will instantly become tougher next week as the Mountaineers will take on LSU, Maryland, and 22nd-ranked Virginia Tech in consecutive weeks before beginning conference play against Rutgers on September 24th.

No, it's not over. I guess you could say it's on hold or it's idle, but it isn't over.

I've just put this game to the side to focus on college hoops right now. When and if I get the urge to play this more again, I'll fire this back up.
