Re: Mountaineers Are Always Free!!! (NCAA 09)
im liking your dynasty so far but i have a question for you. How do you have guys like coly white and alric arnett in your game because i downloaded a roster from ealocker on my ps3 and they arent in the game. I used a roster they said to use from freencaa09rosters. I would also like to know how many minute quarters you play with.

Let's be honest, you're schedule blows compared to anything those two teams would have had to play lol.Fan of....
Memphis Tigers - Texas Rangers - Dallas Mavericks - Dallas Cowboys

Re: Mountaineers Are Always Free!!! (NCAA 09)
And the Pac-10 really wasn't anything to write home about this season either. I think it's just anti-WVU bias!
I thought scheduling two preseason top 10 teams this year would help things out a bit (plus beating Michigan and NC State), but apparently not. Since it did not good, next year will be cupcake central in non-conference play (maybe, LOL)!Comment

Bowl Preview
Orange Bowl
Miami, FL (AP) - The third-ranked West Virginia Mountaineers (12-0, 7-0 Big East) have been hosed. Like Auburn circa 2004, the 'Eers have been discluded from the BCS National Championship Game despite going undefeated in a major BCS Conference.
"It's preposterous that we don't get a shot and that's just the nature of this crappy system we call the BCS," said West Virginia head coach Bill Stewart.
West Virginia played two top 10 teams in their non-conference schedule (at the time, LSU is now unranked while Virginia Tech is ranked #16), but it still wasn't enough.
Now the Mountaineers are slotted in the Orange Bowl, where they will take on #5 Georgia Tech (12-1, 8-1 ACC). The Orange Bowl officials sure has to be loving this matchup.
Georgia Tech is a great team and runs the coveted triple option offense under head coach Paul Johnson. The Yellow Jackets are #1 in the nation in rushing and #6 in total offense. They score 38.4 points per game and boast the 15th ranked defense in the nation.
However, the Mountaineers may be Georgia Tech's kriptonite. West Virginia just happens to boast the #1 team in the nation against the run, just allowing 864 yards rushing all year. The Yellow Jackets have ran for 3,205 this year, so something will have to give. On the contrary, the Mountaineers are ranked 74th against the pass, but that shouldn't matter as much in this one against a ground-oriented Georgia Tech offensive attack.
The Yellow Jackets have a 2,000 yard rusher in Anthony Allen, a first team All-American who ran for 2,038 yards and 23 touchdowns on the year off of 328 carries.
However, West Virginia will likely have Noel Devine back, who should have his injury healed up by January 2, 2011. That will certainly help quite a bit.
West Virginia had better get over the disappointed of getting shafted out of the National Championship Game if it wants to beat an excellent Georgia Tech squad.
Other Big East bowl games:
Meineke Car Care Bowl - Cincinnati (8-4) vs. Florida State (8-4)
Gator Bowl - #15 South Florida (10-2) vs. #16 Virginia Tech (9-3)
Sugar Bowl - #6 Pittsburgh (11-1) vs. #9 Texas Christian (11-1)
International Bowl - Connecticut (7-5) vs. Akron (6-6)
