    July 2005 Schedule

    7th-10th
    at Anaheim
    11th-13th
    All-Star Break - Detroit
    14th-17th
    vs Baltimore
    19th-21st

    22nd-24th
    at Cleveland
    25th-27th
    vs Detroit
    28th-31st
    vs Cleveland

July looks fairly easy for the Mariners. Kansas City, Baltimore, Detroit and Texas are all struggling this year, and Seattle has 12 games against them. As for the other games, they are Anaheim, Cleveland and Toronto, three teams who are having average years. The M's are 6-2 against the Indians and Angels this year, but have yet to play Toronto. The All-Star game also takes place this month in Detroit. Several M's are looking good in the voting, Sexson, Beltre, Boone, Ichiro, Reed and Pineiro are all on pace to make the roster. Reed, Beltre and Ichiro would be starting, three starters would bn an M's record.

    Record By Month
    April - 20-4
    May - 18-8
    June - 21-5

Seattle Rolls Over Texas, Starts July 3-0
      The Seattle Times

The Mariners won their sixth straight game, and swept Texas to improve to 62-18 on the year and 3-0 to start July. Seattle outscored the Rangers 18-4 in the series due to brilliant pitching. All three Seattle starters got a win in the series, and Eddie Guardado picked up his 24th save.

Bobby Madritsch picked up his seventh win in the series.

      Game One - Seattle 3, Texas 1
      WP: Bobby Madritsch (7-3)
      LP: Ryan Drese (4-7)
      S: Eddie Guardado (24)
      HR: None
Player of the Game: Adrian Beltre, 2-3, 2B, 3 RBI, BB

      Pitching Stats
      Bobby Madritsch (SEA) - 8 IP, 1 ER, 4 K's, Win
      Eddie Guardado (SEA) - 1 IP, 0 ER, 0 K's, Save

      Jeremy Reed (SEA) - 2-4, 2B, RBI, 2 SB
Kevin Mench (TEX) - 1-3, HR, RBI

Gil Meche got his ninth win, and is one away from being the third Mariner starter with ten wins this season.
