Yeah, this kind of interception seems to happen far too often, or I've had it a couple of times where the DT is in coverage and somehow my WR isn't able to catch and he is, that's super frustrating.

      Week 10 - @ Michigan State

Gray to McKnight a Lethal Combo

The Gophers have done it again, after another week, they have pulled out another win. Their defense has played well all year progressively getting better, but they do give up a lot of points. The now 8-2 Gophers continue to find ways to win games, and have already locked themselves in a bowl game. They are playing outstanding in the Big Ten, and will have a good shot at winning the Big Ten.

Da Jon McKnight had another monster game with 9 receptions for 189 Yds and 3 TD's vaulting himself into the top of the Heisman canidate race. It should be a close one.

Next week, the Gophers travel to Illinois to play the Illini.

The one that happens to me the most is, i try to pass over the middle... and a linebacker jumps like 5 feet vertically and fingertips it... now thats frustrating.

Yeah, this happens far too often, I hate it when that happens. Most of my passes are over the middle. McKnight is always open in the middle of the field, I'm not really sure why.

                Gophers Fall in OT

The Gophers were riding a high and flying through the schedule, a winnable game against the Illini, and a Big Ten Championship in their sights, the Gophers saw it all fall apart. They were up early, but ultimately in OT, the Gophers were edged by the Illini on a FG.

It was a crazy one as Adam Weber had to come in to fill in for an injured Marqueis Gray, and helped lead the Gophers to an almost win, but would throw a INT that lead to a 7-point lead for the Illini, however, Bryant Allen would get a crazy tip that landed in his hands and would go 80 Yds to tie the game. Weber would throw another INT in the OT, and the Illini were able to kick the easy FG for a win.

Da Jon McKnight, continued his strong play with another 14 Receptions, 240 Yds, and 2 more TD's. He continues to stand above and tall as the leader for the Heisman.

The Gophers are on a bye next week.

                    GOPHER RECRUITING UPDATE

The Gophers have completed their "in-season" recruiting class, and it features just one 4* recruit, but plenty of solid players coming in, 14 in all. It should be exciting to see how they progress.

Yeah, I just couldn't stop anything, it was a super frustrating loss.

I don't know how McKnight is so open all the time, I may need to mess with a slider in the off-season.

Gophers Fall Once Again in OT

The Gophers had built up a 21-7 lead in the 4th quarter when it all started to unravel ultimately culminating in a 27-24 loss in OT. This marks the 2nd straight OT loss for the Gophers and a major loss that knocks them out the major bowl picture. Also, the Gophers have failed to bring home the Floyd of Rosedale since 2006.

Marqueis Gray had 4 INT's, and may be benched in favor of Adam Weber for the bowl game, but the Gophers have definetely surprised many people with an 8-4 record and ending up in 3rd in the Big Ten Conference beating some big name teams in Wisconsin and at the time, #1 ranked Ohio State.

I'll check back in later and give you the updates on the bowl games.
