The 2021 CFP field! The absolutely dominant Oklahoma vs the returning playoff contender Boston College. Also, the powerful Tide vs the Cinderella-story Oregon State Beavers.

New Mexico will take on #10 Cincinnati in the GoDaddy.com Bowl!

Looks like a very solid year for New Mexico with double digit wins! Good luck in the bowl game. Looks pretty clear Boston College should be moving up to the top tier next year.

Definitely great all around. Boston College will be the first team to make it from G5 to P5. No other team has really came close.

Those Oregon State SOB's actually did it. They managed to beat Alabama and Oklahoma back-to-back to win the title. Heisman RB Jermar Jefferson went absolutely off in both games. Oklahoma actually had to comeback from a 20-3 deficit. Wow. Boston College once again loses close. Cool to see Louisville redeem their four-loss season with a Rose Bowl win.

Several G5 teams finishing in the Top 25 including good ole New Mexico as we beat Cincinnati (recapped below). Pretty impressive for Oklahoma to have the #1 offense and defense. Seems like I cursed Oregon by putting them in the CFP last year lol haven't been the same since.

The SEC's 12.3 average final ranking is the best recorded thus far. Also, both top ranking conferences last year (ACC P5, AAC G5) are last. Hopefully, a sign of balancing parity.

Excited for Tanner McCallister to be 1st-Team All-American and also win the Thorpe Award. Oklahoma had NINE all-americans on 1st and 2nd team. Crazy how they didn't win it. BC's RB David Bailey won every award except the Heisman (stole at the last second by Jefferson). Penn State's LB Micah Parsons had a big year with three awards.

Clemson had a crazy offense- shame they didn't do better with T-Law putting up nearly 50 TDs with Ross leading the country and receiving. Absolutely epic numbers out of Bailey and Jefferson. Siggers from North Texas was the back who put up nearly 300 yards rushing against the ol Lobos.

Finished 11-2! The Cincinnati game was a shootout that was 34-34 going into the fourth. A lot of big plays and picks. There was actually a stretch that within four plays had each team get a pick six and also a 70+ yard score. They were good but not as good as advertised because their QB was very poor mentally. The game ended up in OT in which they got ball first- hit a field goal. Then, of course, who else but Vigilant to hit four straight carries for the game winning TD.

Really good freshman year by Nealy. 3400+ yards of offense and 41 TDs (school record). Of course, Vigilant was the MVP with 2000+ scrimmage yards. He will be missed. Good allocation spread for the receivers. Had several big defensive years including All-Conference bids by three freshmen. The star of course was award winner McCallister. Team stat wise- we did much much better on offense but our defense technically regressed (however, this was more due to shootouts). Defense must get better if we want to take the next step.

13 all-conference players is really awesome! 11 of them are returning for 2022! The awards are pretty obvious. Started having a lot of fun playing with Smith / Young at LB's by the end of the season. Smith is a speed demon and Young is our best tackler. They will be Hall of Fame guys on defense in our 4-2-5 system when it's all said and done.

How about those Beavers! Great year for your Lobos too, 11-2 is excellent and a very good year from Nealy at QB.

Love the Oregon State miracle title run. Also, yes, a big year by Nealy & Co.

I will probably be doing off-season and pre-season tonight or tomorrow. If anyone else wanted to make another prospect. If you made one last season, you can make another this year if you want. Thanks!

                    Name: Joshua Grimes

Appearance: randomize the physical features, but I want a visor, one sleeve TC, one sleeve white, thin white armbands on the TC sleeve, thin TC armbands on the white sleeve. Make sure I wear cool gloves, not the generic ones
Type of player: see position above. Think Rondale Moore or Wandale Robinson.

Boston College becomes the first team to successfully make it from the G5 to the P5. They did it in awesome fashion with two well-earned CFP appearances. Ironically, they replaced NC State (who beat them and lost eight straight after that win). Baylor gets back into the B12 while Cincinnati, Fresno, and Tulane get opportunities in INDY.

Interesting to see Louisville's HC go to Georgia and Oregon State's to Notre Dame (last two National champ coaches). Cincy's Luke Fickell takes over LSU who was abysmal the last two years. REALLY out of nowhere for Wisconsin to hire San Diego State's HC.

Pretty standard recruiting classes. The Lobos notched the #21 class which is pretty good but how about Montana State having the #11 class nationally? Of New Mexico's incoming freshmen- there are plenty of good guys to be down the line. Ben Cooper was fought hard for and will be an immediate starter as a true freshman.

As for our entire group of projected starter: our offensive skill group is going to be just as good. Nealy is a 90 and RS freshman Jordan Adams has all similar attributes to Vigilant (on purpose)- I think he will walk away from UNM with many records. WR's and TE's all returning starters. Our line is YOUNG but that's why Nealy is fast lmaooo

Defensively, I will be super disappointed if we aren't better than 2021. Eight returning starters. If Cooper gets to the QB, we could potentially have four All-Conference DL. Young and Smith are proven LB's. Our DB group is maybe our best unit on the team with Reed and McCallister. Freshman Eric Hearn will be the full-time Nickel (I play a 4-2-5 so he is a starter). He is the fastest player on the team and will be the next guy to take over the SS role that has been the most important position on our defense.

Always nice to have a 94 overall kicker too. Excited for Year Three!

Thank you! I really wanted to keep track of great careers not just by my own guys. And, Year 3 is usually the defining year for a coach. I have no clue what the Sun Belt will look like but if our offense can overcome out offensive line and the defense just marginally improves... watch out!

Also, MisterMonkey's created prospect 5* WR Devonte Willis did not end up on Penn State even though I AM 110% I SAW HIM SIGN WITH PENN STATE. Instead, he is on the Pittsburgh Panthers and slotted to be their #1 WR. SS Terry Godby (PSU) and LB Steve Fulton (BAMA) are buried on the depth charts but actually positioned to be starters after this season.

If anyone else wanted to create a prospect for the 2022 season, I will be doing preseason this afternoon:
