BRONCOS POUR IT ON IN THE 4TH.
GAME RECAP
Boise State scored on the opening drive to take a (7-0) lead in the 1st Quarter and took a (17-10) lead into the locker room as West finds Brutus for a pair of TD's as the Senior WR continues to shine with his 13th and 14th TD's of the season.
OSU opened up the 2nd half with the ball but a INT by SO SS Sidney Brightwell (his 2nd straight game with a pick) gives BSU the ball in scoring position as West hooks up with his SR TE Jhurell Merling for a 8 yd score to make it (24-10).
OSU would open up the 4th Quarter with a 58 yd TD pass from SR QB J. Canidate (78) to JR WR Jarrad Muabma (89) to make it (24-17) but after that it was all BSU and all RB Wayne Cone.
The former QB turned RB would take over in the 14th Quarter spelling Larry Wade who got the start with Anthony Perez out, and Cone delivered one of the best performances of the season rushing 14 times for 127 yds (9.1 avg) with 3 TD's including a 32 yd long as BSU scores 24 unanswered to close out the game.

Re: The Making of a Legend. The Career of Coach Scott CF25
West isn't even in the Top-5.
I actually have played the Arizona game too, so I got 3 Pac-12 games left all on the road plus probably the Pac-12 title game, but it looks like I need to start running the ball with him if I am going to get him a 3rd Heisman.Comment

SOLDOUT CROWD COMES OUT TO SUPPORT SENIOR DAY!!
Boise State honored all 17 Seniors before the game, as BSU plays their final home game of the season in Week 10 in a bizarre schedule this year.
GAME RECAP
The Wildcats came into the game looking to secure their 6th win of the season and make a statement in the Pac-12 and they played a solid 1st half taking the lead in the final minute as SR QB Jake Dhamania (94) hits SR WR Davon Duff (82) on a 32 yd TD to make it (17-14) at the half.
Turnovers plagued both teams in the 3rd Quarter as Dhamania and West both throw INT's. Still trailing by 3 going into the 4th. West would give BSU the lead as he finds David Brutus for a 20 yd score. to make it (21-17). Arizona would be forced to settle for a FG to make it (21-20) with 6 minutes to play, but BSU adds to their lead as as Wade scores his 2nd rushing TD of the game to make it a 8 point lead with 3:40 to play in the game.
Arizona had a chance to tie the game but turns the ball over on downs inside the redzone as they watch BSU run out the clock to secure their 5th Pac-12 victory and improve to 8-1 on the season.
Dhamania finished the game (22/34) for 228 yds with 1 TD and 1 INT

BRONCOS DEBUT AT #4
Despite National Signing Day still being months away, Boise State once again looks to be building what should be another run at the #1 Class in the nation and at worst a Top-5 Class.
Coach Scott has secured 13 commitments going into Week 11 including a Nation's Best (7) 5* Recruits surpassing Michigan's (5) and Miami/Auburn/Maryland's (3).
For a 2nd year in a row, BSU lands the #1 Overall Recruit in the class signing 5* Athlete Dexter Smelter from Yazoo City MS. Smelter is projected to play WR next year for the Broncos. Smelter turned down Auburn (#2) as well as Ole Miss, LSU, Alabama, Georgia Texas and Ohio State.
Joining him will be 5* Nelson Metz (#10 Overall/#1 IL/#3 WR) as the 6'5 219 lb Chicago native turns down Michigan and Georgia.
Despite already having 2 very talented FR QB's currently redshirting, Coach Scott landed a pair of signal callers to challenge them for the West's starting role.
5* Otis Meekins (#6 Overall/#2 CA/#1 QB) turns down the Ducks and Tennessee Vol's for a chance to battle Battle's well 4* Chester Gentry (#55 Overall/#2 UT/#3 QB) also signs turning down offers from Washington State and Utah State.
The Offense isn't the only side of the ball landing star's as the Defense lands
5* DE Raheem Middlebrooks (#25 Overall/#5 CA/#3 DE)
5* OLB Karl Stock (#11 Overall/#1 UT/#2 OLB)
5* FS Conner Doss (#17 Overall/#1 CO/#1 FS)
5* OLB Cameron Eze (#7 Overall/#3 CA/#1 OLB)
But BSU wasn't done there either as the land 5 more 4* recruits ready to also make a impact.

4* TE Tyler Nicholso (#54 Overall/#1 WA/#4 TE)
4* CB Bryce Brownlee (#191 Overall/#3 KY/#19 CB)
4* C Ricardo Winston (#104 Overall/#2 ID/#3 C)

#22 (6-3) Penn State
#23 (7-2) Oregon
#24 (7-2) Georgia Tech
#25 (6-3) Arkansas
Going into Week 11 and seeing Appalachian State sitting at #1 is a shock to pretty much everyone. The Mountaineers lost in Week 3 to Michigan (26-21) in the Big House but have gone 7-0 in ACC play including a (42-35) win over #10 Maryland. With 3 home games to close out the year, they are a favorite to finish out 11-1 with only a loss in the ACC Championship in their way from securing the #1 seed.
Texas Tech started the year looking like they were going to repeat as Big 12 Champs and contend for another National Title but start QB George Felix (1162 yds 11 TD 1 INT ) went down with a injury. Former 5* Athlete CJ Huval (84 ovr) has been solid in relief (1483 yds 19 TD 5 INT) but they have managed to loose 3 games and are in danger of missing the playoffs with another loss.
CFB PROJECTECTED BRACKET
The Week 10 projections have Appy State #1 winning the ACC, Nebraska winning the Big 12 and securing the #2, Michigan winning the Big Ten and securing the #4 with the last team in the country undefeated (9-0) Rice winning the American and securing the #3 seed.
They have Texas as the #5 seed playing #12 Southern Miss.
#6 Syracuse as the #8 seed with #9 Georgia as the #9 seed
They have #11 Miami as the #11 seed and #3 Ohio State as the #6 seed.
They have #5 BSU winning the Pac-12 but securing the #7 seed against #10 Maryland.Comment

Looks like Nebraska is starting to reap the benefits of Coach Scott's departure
and wow at App State and Southern Miss being ranked so high. Maybe all that embezzling money from Favre finally payed of for the Golden Eagles lolComment

Re: The Making of a Legend. The Career of Coach Scott CF25
They got a SR QB who is a 81 Ovr who has 3016 yds with 35 TD and 9 INT, a 88 Ovr RB that's a JR and a couple decent WR's as well as a couple Defenders ranked like 86-89. But their backup QB is only a 70 Overall so I have feeling they won't be so good next year.
The ACC is and continues to be pretty weak in terms of good teams. Everyone is pretty even typically low 80"s to mid 80's Overall, so it all just comes down to who beats who. So far Appy State is rolling through ACC play with a win over Maryland, but any loss to finish the year and it's going to hurt cause they are playing basically teams sub .500.Comment

Re: The Making of a Legend. The Career of Coach Scott CF25
ROAD WARRIORS!!!
Boise State closed out their season with 3 straight road wins but needed some help getting into the Pac-12 Championship from Oregon as the Ducks took on the Washington Huskies in Week 13. The Ducks won the game (21-15) to hand UW their 2nd Pac-12 loss, securing a Bronco/Duck rematch for the Championship.
WEEK 11 @ Fresno State (41-12)
After escaping with a Overtime win in Boise last season to win the Milk Can, BSU came out and dominated the Bulldogs scoring (3) 2nd Quarter TD's to take a (24-9) lead into the locker room and added 2 more late scores in the 4th to roll to victory.
George West threw for 337 yds with 4 TD and ran for another score as he add's 5 TD to his season total in his quest for a 3rd Heisman run.
Michigan State transfer Damion Brutus continues to make a push at breaking the BSU receiving record for TD's (26) set by Maurice Long last season as he adds 2 more to his season totals bringing him to 17. His 146 yds also pushes him over 1000 yds on the season..
True Freshman Tyron Combs continues to shine as well as he finished the day with 6 rec for 105 yds.
WEEK 12 @ Washington State (54-14)
The Offense was firing on all cylinders as BSU scores 38 points in the 1st half to take a (38-7) lead. WSU would finish the day just 2-11 on 3rd downs and 0-2 on 4th downs and the Bronco D comes up with 2 INT's both by JR Reggie Abel (UNT Transfer).
It was another huge day for West who throws for 350 yds and 4 TD well adding a short 2 yd TD run.
It was also another big day for Brutus who catches his 18th and 19th TD's of the season. Tyron Combs also continues to be the perfect #2 as he finishes the day with his 4th 100 yd performance.
Week 13 @ Utah (46-0)
In 16 seasons this was the craziest game played, as Boise State flat dominated the game from start to finish in both sides of the ball. Utah would manage just (1) 1st Down on the day going 0-13 on 3rd Down and 49 yds of Total Offense, finishing the day with -5 rushing yards on 15 carries.
BSU settled for FG's in the 1st Q taking a (6-0) lead. West threw for 368 yds completing 27/38 pass (71%) but managed just 2 TD's on the day with 1 going to Brutus for TD #20.
Combs had his 3rd straight 100 yd game finishing the day with 10 rec for 151 yds. BSU lost QB turned RB Wayne Cone (4 weeks with a Broken Hand) leaving R Dalton Gash to take over as the 4th Quarter RB. He finished with a career high 89 yds and a late TD.Comment

Re: The Making of a Legend. The Career of Coach Scott CF25
THE RUN IS OVER
When 2 time Heisman winner George West announced he was coming back for his Senior season, many thought it was a chance to win a 3rd Heisman and well West has had a Heisman type season, the voters are not impressed and don't appear to be ready to put him in the elite class of being a 3 time winner.
West's 3424 yds with 38 TD and 3 INT this season has put him in both the Pac-12 record books and Boise State record books giving him the lead for both Career Yards (15,782) and TD's (171) #'s he will continue to grow with at least 2 more games. West had also added 1104 yds and 13 rushing TD's in his career.
But this season despite those #'s West finds himself currently sitting #5 in the voting behind 3 other QB's and a Freshman WR.
Texas Tech over the year's under Coach Scott have had multiple star WR's who have produced huge #'s and RS Freshman Dominick Flock has joined those ranks.
Flock leads the Red Raiders with 71 rec for 1011 yds with 16 TD's through the air, but what has gained him Heisman votes and notice from the country is his 213 yds and 4 TD's on the ground. Well those #'s are great it still doesn't look like it will be enough to beat the other Trio of QB's joining him and West in the Final 5.
Texas JR QB Anthony Pianalto-3050 yds 33 TD 4 INT Passing, 135 carries 578 yds 5 TD Rushing
Arkansas SR QB Arie Ojemudia- 3034 yds 30 TD 3 INT Passing, 138 carries 540 yds 7 TD Rushing.
Maryland SR QB CJ Wade- 3239 yds 30 TD 4 INT Passing, 111 carries 435 yds 5 TD Rushing
Who is your favorite to win the Heisman???Comment

CUSA
A couple late season loss's by Southern Miss see the Golden Eagles not only out of contention for a Playoff seed but also out of the CUSA title game as
#23(10-2) Army will take on (9-3) Northwestern.
AMERICAN
#6 (12-0) Rice is the last undefeated team in the nation but they will face 1 more very difficult opponent in their quest for a Championship and Top-4 seed in they playoff as they take on #8 (11-1) Louisiana. As it sit's right now it appears that both teams could make the playoffs despite the out come of the game.
MOUNTAIN WEST
(9-3) Tulsa is back for a 2nd straight year as they take on (8-4) UTEP for the rights to the LA Bowl.
SUN BELT
(10-2) South Alabama will take on (8-4) Jacksonville State.
MAC
(7-5) Akron will take on (9-3) UMass
BIG 12
Despite winning their final 6 games, TTU falls shorts finishing 7-2 in Big 12 play and 9-3 Overall and #13 in the Rankings.. They will need some help this week for any chance at a At-Large bid.
Texas is your new #1 finishing the year (11-1) as they will take on #9 (9-3) Nebraska.
SEC
#3 (10-2) Georgia will take on #11 (9-3) Florida.
It's been several year's since Florida has made the SEC Championship game and had a chance at a playoff spot. A win would secure it well a loss could see them fall outside the Top-12.
BIG TEN
#16 (9-3) Michigan will take on #2 (11-1) Ohio State, with a playoff spot on the line for the Wolverines. This Game will take Hate to a whole new level.
ACC
#5 (10-2) Maryland will get it's chance at revenge against #7 (10-2) Appalachian State.. The Mountaineers dropped 2 of their last 3 games but still managed to stay in the Top-10. The question now is can they some how secure a Top-4 seed if they win..Comment

BRONCOS GET THEIR REVENGE!!!
Boise State got it's revenge on their only loss of the season defeating the #10 Oregon Ducks in the Pac-12 title game, giving the Broncos the #4 seed in the playoffs a a 1st Round Bye.
GAME RECAP
Early INT's by both QB's kept things close at BSU took a (7-0) lead into the 2nd Quarter, but looking to make one last statement to the Heisman voters, George West would throw 3 TD's and run for another to give the Broncos a (34-17) 1st half lead.
Oregon opened up the 2nd half with a touchdown converting the 2pt play to make it (34-25) but that would be the last score of the game for the Ducks, as Oregon turns the ball over 4 times in the 2nd half (2 INT's and 2 on downs)..
Boise State despite the lead kept the gas pedal down as BSU responds for 5 more scores in the 2nd half including 2 more passing TD's from West. as the SR QB finishes the day with 6 total TD's to go with his 1 early INT.
It was a career day for SR RB Larry Wade who finished the game just 6 yards shy of 200 as he has a career high 30 carries for 194 yds and 1 TD.

Re: The Making of a Legend. The Career of Coach Scott CF25
THE PLAYOFFS ARE SET
With the Top-4 ranked teams in the country all winning their Conference Championships, #6 Rice despite their (13-0) record and American Championship win over #8 Louisiana (27-25) will play in Round 1.
#1 Texas secures the #1 seed with a (42-28) win over #9 Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship.. The Cornhuskers with the loss drop to #11 but still make the playoffs despite a 4 loss season as the #11 seed. where they will take on Rice in the opening round.
#2 Ohio State's (33-16) win over Michigan secures the Buckeyes the #2 seed where they will await the winner of #10 (9-3) Syracuse and #7 (10-3) Appalachian State who falls to Maryland in the ACC Championship.
#3 Georgia's (20-10) win over #11 Florida in the SEC Championship gives the Bulldogs the #3 seed, well the loss sends the Gators packing as they fall to #14 in the rankings and out of the playoffs. Georgia gest the winner of Rice/Nebraska..
#14 (9-3) Miami moves up 2 spots in the rankings despite not playing in the SEC Championship to secure the #12 ranking as they beat out Pac-12 runner up (Oregon) and SEC runner-up (Florida) for the final spot in the playoffs.
The Hurricanes will face off against ACC Champion #5 Maryland for the chance to take on #4 Boise State in Round 2.
Despite their loss in the American Conference Championship, #8 Louisiana doesn't drop at all in the rankings as they secure the #8 seed in the playoffs where they will take on defending National Champs #9 seed (9-3) Texas Tech.
The Red Raiders will get their chance at a 3-Peat as TTU jumps 4 spots from #13 to #9 setting up a potential 2nd round matchup with the Longhorns and a potential Semi Finals matchup with Boise State.Comment

Re: The Making of a Legend. The Career of Coach Scott CF25
1ST ROUND RESULTS
#5 Maryland defeats #12 seed Miami (28-24) to advance, setting up a Fiesta Bowl matchup between the ACC and Pac-12 Champs (Boise State) which will feature 2 of the 5 Heisman finalist..
#9 Texas Tech defeated #8 Louisiana (25-17) scoring 13 in the 4th Quarter as they setup a TTU vs UT showdown which will also feature Heisman finalist WR Dominick Flott and Heisman winner QB Anthony Peinalto.
*The Red Raiders and Longhorns did not actually play against each other this season*
#6 Rice continues their undefeated run at 16-0 with a (30-13) win over #11 seed Nebraska. The Owls will advance to take on #3 Georgia.
#10 Syracuse defeated #7 Appalachian State (42-24) to advance to setup a Big Ten showdown with #2 Ohio State. The Orange actually won the regular season matchup against the Buckeye's (31-24) back in Week 7 giving Ohio State their only loss of the season.Comment

Re: The Making of a Legend. The Career of Coach Scott CF25
BRONCOS ADD FIESTA BOWL TO THE TROPHY CASE!!
Boise State is very familiar with Fiesta Bowl victories winning in (2006 against Oklahoma) then in again in 2009 (TCU) and for a 3rd time in 2014 (Arizona). Now they can add 2039 (Maryland) I honestly can't remember if I played and won any Fiesta Bowls as the OC my first 4 years of the Dynasty.
GAME RECAP
BSU jumped out to a early (7-0) lead in the 1st Quarter and added 3 more touchdowns in the 2nd Quarter to take a pretty commanding (28-7) lead into the half.
The Defense came up with 2 big turnovers in the 2nd half and the Terps would go 0/7 on 3rd down after going 3/4 in the 1st half as BSU shuts down SR QB CJ Wade (14/23 193 yds 1 TD 1 INT).
The win however didn't come without a cost, as Boise State loses 2 key members on offense as Larry Wade leaves the game with a Dislocated Ankle and Freshman WR Tyron Combs is out with a Broken Hand. Both players are expected to miss the rest of he season.
BSU did however get back former QB turned RB Wayne Cone from his broken hand and Cone leads the Broncos with 17 carries.
